Ok where do I start ....my friend was interrogated by the police for doing sex work, They were at a hotel and they booked her for an outcall she arrived and said to them is there a problem they began to ask her if she is doing this job out of her own free will? she said yes they then said you shouldn't be in this business its dangerous. So they said to her here's a PAMPHLET about exiting the business and that was the end of it they had her in tears because she needed to work that night to have her bills paid.
Now abolitionists get money funded from the government to be anti sex work anti client anti human trafficking . The government gives them huge sums of money to do god only knows what!!!
They do not have funding for SEX WORKERS. only for themselves. Some women who have been in the trade will be convinced its a terrible job. Then there are some who don't listen to these these religious wing nuts.
Then there are anti trafficking squads getting HUGE pay checks with benefits and a lavish lifestyle to go after sex workers that are there BY CHOICE. Wasting tax payers money and clearly cant differentiate between a trafficked victim and a sex worker there by choice.
The police enforce the rules on sex work if they see for instance a sex worker doing to a hotel late at night. The other night I went to a hotel and as I drove up to the hotel I parked my car and texted the guy that id be up in a few minutes. The police came over and asked me what am I doing? I said im looking for something in my purse what seems to be the issue I asked? he then said oh because the hotels are filled with prostitution and you were parked. I thought to myself oh great now I cant even go do my outfcallbecause im going to be watched. So I texted the guy what happened and we rebooked another day.
sex workers are given a lousy pamphlet when the anti human trafficking and police want us to exit the business. They will also offer you a shelter is its not at full capacit. They will feed you there but your only option is going on welfare assistance while your in transition of changing jobs ONLY IF THATS YOUR CHOICE TO DO. So you basically have enough cash to rent a room in a rooming house and probs be unsafer than you've ever been. You;; need a food bank and your left with peanuts. this is how the government anti trafficking squad advocacy groups and abolitionists give there pot of gold to sex workers.As long as they get huge pay checks on our behalf and get good benifits we go without it all. the government gave one freaking shelter for sex workers in a province just one out of millions of people. Now if a sex worker is truly being trafficked and abused and assaulted then I applaud her or him or they getting out of the business.
