I just downloaded the Verify Ontario App that businesses use to scan Vaccine QR codes, works great as I scanned my own QR code, it shows green check mark with my name and date of birth.

You can use this for your own purposes, if you are hosting a party, you can check all your guests.

It's great and it takes away the scammers running around with fake paper certificates. Once it's up and running they should no longer accept paper certificates.

unfortunately, paper will still be acceptable
Still is yes and has to be for a period to allow the majority to jump on the app. Hopefully, within a month or so Doug has the balls to tighten things up and start tightening the noose.

Albeit if someone doesn't have a phone or out of towner would be a hiccup that needs to be dealt with.

The problem with the paper is so many now have a photoshopped fake version. The danger is if they attempt using these at the airports where they do check a little more and face repercussions if caught and I would jump for joy if caught.

They will still have vaccine paper receipt accepted and still need to show proof of ID to them .

Yeah - I downloaded the QR code and set it up as a shortcut on my phone. We are good for the new world moving forward. Let Go!

Last night I saw a thread that has since been deleted/removed asking if any one was selling vaccination QR codes in the Buy and Sell forum, hope the MODs banned this poster,,

They can't make fake QR codes?

Untrue, King Street West bars and restaurants are busier than ever, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. The area is alive and hopping. I live in this area.

It was very TRUE last month when I visited Montreal in September. Exactly as pictures show. Barely any patrons in restaurants requiring QR code.
My group and I decided to eat at a restaurant that was nearly empty and were asked for QR codes. None of us had it so we were about to leave, all 6 of us. So our waiter said Fuck QR codes and took us to our table.
