The national police force says it needs to recruit 5,100 women to redress a 27% shortfall compared to women’s overall representation in the Canadian workforce, while it needs to hire 1,140 more visible minorities to compensate for a 6% shortfall.
However, the RCMP has no plans to stem an exodus of Indigenous members from the force, with 102 Indigenous officers leaving the force between 2018 and 2020.

Gal Gadot has my vote. However, remember that police (and especially firefighter) work do require certain standards of physicality in the real world (but less so in movies).

Aren't female soldiers in the IDF in a support and not in a combat role?

A much easier way of dealing with the problem is to train the current officers in trans identity.

the problem with putting one sex in certain jobs and the other sex in other jobs it creates an unfair, unequal and toxic environment. if women are going to be only put in non physical jobs this means men will be put in the physical positions. men would bare the more violent situations, prone to more injury, etc.

as a police officer there is a minimum bar they must meet even as desk jockeys they still must have passed that bar.

if women cant pass the standards and not meet the same expectations as men they shouldnt do the job.
