They were hobbyists but they weren't murdered by a sick stalker. They were murdered by a serial killer who was a pretending to be street worker, not a reputable provider. That said, I'm sure at some point it has occurred but not to these men.
All I'm saying is there are risks on both sides, it's not a one way street. Plus its an industry loaded with fake adds, scammers, stings and providers fighting against their own competition.

This is only a concern for us, not for anyone else. We are second line citizens that only provide money to support the industry. We have no say

It's usually not something worth saying.

It's about as intelligent an observation as saying, "Yes, trapeze artists face risks, but it's also possible that they might fall on a member of the audience."

It is demonstrably true, but the risks faced by each group are drastically different in both frequency and severity. Direct comparison between them is always and necessarily an argument in bad faith.

Difference in severity? You are entirely wrong. Both parties can be murdered. Anything more severe than this professor?

We can just use Google rather than arguing established facts:

“A large study conducted in the United States spanning 40 years suggests that sex workers, along with other transient subpopulations including the homeless, are overrepresented among victims of serial murderers and are a target for serial murder offenders (Quinet 2011).”

So sex workers use screening etc to improve safety. Regardless of the numbers, no one is arguing clients should not take measures to stay safe. Please, everyone is imploring you: avoid “pimps and thugs” by visiting credible providers. And if clients stop supporting them, they can’t proliferate.

You are entirely wrong again. Ever heard of pimps and thugs. You have a lot to learn student.

You have a very toxic attitude, similar to your previous handle here. Are you trying to tell us that the clients are raped, robbed, stalked and murdered at the same rate as sex workers ? Yes there are pimps and yes there are thugs, but the frequency of those incidence are a drop in the bucket compared to the frequency of the dangers that sex workers face. If you dont agree with this then you are delusional. Bottom line is this forum will always support whatever safety measures the industry puts in place.

I wasn't disagreeing with the frequency. I merely pointed out gibarian's error in the severity. No delusions here.

Life is not all about sex. Yes, I said it.
Life is about children, about passion about spirit.
It's not about fucking and balls and pussy.
It's about love.
Life is about people. It's about connections.
It's not about tossing salad.
It's not about cocks, and ass, and tits.
And butthole pleasures.
It's not about these rusty trombones, and these dirty sanchez.
It's not about rainbow showers and camel toe slides
And these cincinatti bowties, and these pussy juice cocktail, the jagged head dildos and these shit stained balls
and cum swapping and hanging brain.
It's not about the rattlesnake river, the alligator fuck house, the donkey punching and the teabagging.

Life is not about those things, it's just a lot better with it.

A number of the wonderful ladies who were here for us 2+ year ago are still here, sometimes taking time off but returning. Yes, for a number of reasons, they may have raised their rates...many relatively modestly. They will engage in good conversation, kiss, hug and please you, as they have throughout the pandemic. You just need to do some research and check reviews to seek them out. Most of them are local ladies who have twitter accounts and/ or web sites and who make livings for themselves, some for their families and their beloved pets. Embrace them...they will embrace you! If you are looking at out of towners with (especially face) pics that are TGTBT and distant area code text numbers, you're either a novice or impaired in some way (sorry) and don't take the advice of experienced hobbiers. Maybe you've been seeing ladies less frequently...so spend a little more when someone "proven" really intrigues you. SPOIL YOURSELF...you deserve it!

That's pretty much how it works with women too. They are murdered by serial killers, not real hobbyists, or slobbyists, or whatever.

I think both sides have points here and both are being ridiculous.

I have personally never given out my information to a provider and it does freak me out at the idea of doing so however there are few ladies who are reviewed well enough that I feel I would trust enough to do so.

However there have started to be a ridiculous amount of non-established providers asking for deposits and identity.

No provider is going to provide you with their identity. Everyone would laugh at such a notion. Yet you get disregarded if they don't know exactly who you are.

In terms of deposits. How many places do you make reservations at that require you to place a deposit.

For reputable providers its not that big of an issue. We here enough about how lovely they are that we aren't too worried about them outing us.

Then you have others who refuse to be reviewed. That's strange to me. Sure you can have bad chemistry with someone and he takes offense and thinks it's all you and leaves a bad review. But I feel like 9/10 times that happens, there are a bunch of other reviews that completely counter said "bad review"
Without reviews how are you supposed to become reputable if you don't allow reviews.

In terms of danger, I think if a client picked 10 random providers off LL or wherever. What's the danger there compared to the 10 random clients that a provider agrees to see.

I really dont know what the answer is here. But there really are valid concerns on both sides.

But if you are a client who is concerned about privacy and getting ripped off by an established provider, then you're probably gonna have to settle for less reputable one who doesn't ask.

If you're a provider who refuses reviews and also demands deposits and identity. Maybe you need to rethink it.

Someone just needs to make an app where everyone remains anonymous to each other but you rate each other at the end. You know like uber for hobbying or something lol
