Great song, still alive at 80 as I am. My wife in her younger days was in love with him, but she made the right choice, LOL. He has lived a rocky life, had many affairs with women but never married. Was also accused of sexual abuse towards men and was thought to be gay. Was Britain's best before the Beatles.
