So I have a client PISSED at me. He drove out to me a far distance, about 45 min drive one way and was denied his appointment because I take temperatures at the door and his registered too high. I have a colour coded system. It showed yellow, not red. The temp was 37.9C. Not “high” but high enough. Everyone shows up masked and can’t take it off until temp is taken. We waited at the door for minute or two, retook it, same result so I asked him to leave.

He wanted gas money. He is going to write a bad review, this is bullshit. He drove all this way.

I said no to gas obviously, said I would make it up next time and suggested he take his temp before leaving next time. I said if he wants to write a review, to go ahead. It is his right to do so. I told him I feel bad but he is pissed to say the least. I get that.

He went on and on about not having COVID and it’s just a flu. He had his shots, etc.

I explained it could be something else. I explained I can’t take the chance.

I am sure I have lost the client now but what could I do? I have to be careful as well.

Should I have done more? What could I do? I could have paid for gas but then how is that on me. He had the temperature. But he said I never told him I would be taking his temperature.

I don’t know if either of us are actually wrong. Just a shitty situation. What does one do?

Anyone else been denied because of temp? I can’t be the only escort who takes temperatures at the door.

I know that much. And I think when he calms down he will see that too but it is like a rejection. After driving for 45 mins. And then he has 45 mins back. Plus the time he booked in his schedule to get away. It really sucks for him and I get that and sympathize.

Just don’t know if there was something I could do other then offer him so extra time at the next appointment. I don’t feel I should have handed him cash for gas.

Maybe when he comes back I could give him a gas card or something? But should I? If it was his issue because it was his temperature.

Should have I on my add that I take temperatures? Is that really needed?

You guys know how much I like to be fair. So what is the “fair” thing to do here?

You did the right thing. For him to say its just the flu, then he could pass it onto you & your family.... good on you for a high standard.
The fact that you offered to make it up next time, shows your empathy to what just occurred.
A thread like this makes me want to see you even more.
Keep to your high standards
Now get back fishing 🎣

Perhaps give him a discount next time... or some extra time. Your call.

Ultimately, you don't owe anybody, anything. You are 100% justified to protect yourself. It was the right thing to do.

I get why he's pissed. I would be too. However, when clients don't show up, or cancel last minute, I imagine you are not getting cancelation fee's.

I won’t see a client again after a no show u less they pay a cancellation fee. If they cancel, depending on the notice given, the time booked etc, will determine if there is a fee or not.

Which is why I am considering something for the client should he return. I get his side too and get why he is pissed. I would be if I was in his shoes. But I equally took the time to get ready, get the house ready as it was a homebase incall, I took the time just like he did and I am out the session of sex and the money. We both lost in the deal. So this is my struggle.

and he didn’t handle it the best with threats of negative reviews. Things like that piss me off and make me want to say FU. Which I think is also understandable from my side. I am currently taking it as a “heat of the moment”, one off comment but this would normally get you blacklisted.

I mean I assume he knew that he was going to have his temperature taken at the door so I don't get why he would be surprised if he's denied service upon a failed reading.

Your body your rules. Just spell it out for these guys ahead of time.

The whole ''flu'' diatribe from him is kind of a red flag if you ask me. Sounds like a gent who isn't using proper logic here. Of course the little head tends to take over I know.

You 100% did the right thing here.........Your present and prospective clients should feel fortunate to have a provider who is taking precautions and sticking to them.

If the client said it is just the flu that would indicate to me that he knew that he was not feeling " right". In that case he should have cancelled- to not do so indicates disrepect to you and not really caring that he might pass something on to you. If he felt totally fine in spite of the high temperature would he not emphatically say so. I went to the dentist this week and the first thing that they do is take your temperature. If it is high they are not seeing you- it is very cut and dried. You owe him nothing , in fact maybe he owes you.

38° is a fever condition. Send him packing and don't give it another thought. Incidentally, I run into a "warm" escort a few years back. Turned out she was pregnant. Unlikely outcome in this case..but it's 2021.

You did the right thing. On the other hand many people with COVID do have not temperature. It is dangerous world we live on at this time.

I've read where persons are they're most contagious 2 days before being symptomatic.

I hesitated posting this because too me that's a very scary thought.

in this day and age, you may think about stating that you take a temperature upon arrival as part of your ad...........this is a business transaction and full disclosure and transparancy should be the norm

Refused the gas money? I hope everyone you meet isn't that stingy with you...

I've read where persons are they're most contagious 2 days before being symptomatic. But infected individuals are more likely to be asymptomatic if they contract it from someone who is asymptomatic. So that should bode well for the vaccinated.

Let him write a bad review. You absolutely did the right thing, he knew your safety protocols and that his temperature would be taken. Saying oh its just the flu....like I mean before 2020, mos tpeople wouldnt see escorts if they were sick you know to not spread the flu, saying that oh its only that and not covid (which we dont know cause with both doses its quite possible to get covid but just to get mild symptoms similar to the flu) is incredibly inconsiderate of you, your family, HIS family as well and the whole population in general

Its too bad that he took that long to drive and god forbid it cost him what 20$ or less in gas? Its not your problem, and even a negative review wont affect you, you have a great reputation

I’ve had to do the same several times this past year and a half. A gentleman would have respected your protocols and your decision and not blamed you. This person showed their true colours when they reacted the way they did and does not deserve any more of your time. Someone who would act that recklessly is bound to do the same things in different circumstances.

I have certainly angered some people by my decisions of canceling or asking them go home instead of following through with plans. I gave them ample opportunity to prove they were like-minded and would respect me. I must protect the safety of my current playmates and my loved ones. By exposing myself to someone who has no respect for me, I’m putting people who do respect me and themselves at danger. So no matter how guilty I feel, I stick to my decisions. There will always be someone who takes it personally and comes online to spread misinformation about you. Nobody wise and respectful would believe negative things about you Jenesis. Big hugs! Hope you stop feeling so guilty for doing the right thing.
