A new movie on Netflix that I'm going to get to shortly.

However I just did a little further reading and had this confused with the Long Island Serial Killer...

For some reason I thought they were the same.

Craigslist Serial Killer is about a medical student who placed personal ads to meet his victims. (I don't remember this story?)

Long Island Serial killer is the unknown suspect who ordered outcalls to his house from Craigslist and killed his victims.

Has anyone seen it yet?

Haven't seen either, but I do remember the Craigslist killer. Was sort of big news when he offed himself. However, I think he only killed on person, though I can be mistaken.

Yes indeed.

I can't believe they never found the Long Island serial killer. I was particularly infatuated with this mystery.

Hopefully one day their will be justice for the families.

Weird how some of these stories get picked up on the news and others don't. There was a very similar situation in Detroit. A guy finding escorts on CL and killing them.

They never found Jack the Ripper either.

Big difference between the Zodiac & Jack the Ripper. In JTR's London, he was a completely new phenomenon, the police then had no experience dealing with a serial killer, but relied on catching most criminals in the act. It was about 15-20 years before even the first conviction by fingerprints.

They sort of did, a body was found in the Thames two years after his reign of terror. He was a member of the Royal Family, he was incarcerated in an asylum then executed by drowning by Royal Security on order of Prince Edward. To bad Edward VII didn't live longer, his cousin Wilhelm II bent the knee to him...WW I may have been averted.

We live in a fucked up world, there's another film on Ted Bundy coming out. There was one in 2019 starring Zac Efron, another is coming out later this year with an actor I've never heard of before. I hate that, why can't we have a an Al Bundy film instead?

Yeah I watched it too. They definetly could have done it better. The end was a little weird for me but I guess that's how they wanted it .
