Exactly! Trump tried to remove all coverage of pre-existing conditions.
Did you somehow miss that part?
Jebus, you people need deprogramming.

We aren't the ones in a cult like many MAGA followers. See, the major difference between the right and left is the right are in an echo chamber of sad little people being outraged about, well, anything. Dr. Seuss's estate wants to stop publishing some books because they have some questionable material??? Fire up the outrage machine! Somebody doesn't understand what critical race theory is, so they attach it to any teaching on racism and, you guessed it, fire up the outrage machine! Biden's approval rating continues to outshine Trump at ANY period of his presidency? Let's pull out the old immigration chestnut and FIRE UP THE OUTRAGE MACHINE!!!!

The right buys into conspiracy theories hook, line and sinker. How else would you explain QAnon? Can you tell me where there is a leftist equivalent? You can't because there isn't. That isn't to say there are conspiracy theories on the left. Sure there are. But they are not mainstream. Nobody stormed the capital to stop Trump from getting the electoral college votes counted.

Fox News, Breitbart, OANN, Daily Caller, they all are all suspect. Fox used to pretend they had a news department that was separate from the opinion side. That deteriorated significantly over the past five years. Sure, Daily Caller might cover stories fairly accurately, but they ignore any that doesn't fit into their view. I mean they went ape shit over the Cuomo allegations, but NOTHING regarding Trump.

The major point here is that while CNN is not perfect, they do actually cover news. They don't shy away from negative stories regarding the Democrats. While Cuomo's prime time show is a failure for covering his brother's scandal, it was reported on every other show. Would Fox have done that if, say, Greg Abbott of Texas was groping women? Probably not. Hell, there are so many times where they didn't cover hearings that where negative comments about the GOP were raised. Like the Jan 6 hearings a few weeks back. That is why the right-wing media is not really news, it's propaganda. They will go out of their way to shit on the Democrats for anything, yet only promote the positive stuff on the GOP. They cheerlead for Trump and rally against Biden -- regardless if he's doing a job most Americans agree with.

Sure.
Fox + right-wing media = GOP propaganda.
CNN + MSM = news sources that cover both parties fairly and equally.
See? There you go. Saved time reading the usual gibberish I see posted here 10x/day.

ROTFLMFAO!!! Over 1 million illegals entered in 2021 and you're serving me this bullshit??? Pathetic.
Okay, let's have your sources for "1 million illegals".

Give me your sources that shows Biden deviates from Trump's policy on ASYLUM SEEKERS..... Yeah, I know that you and your Breitbart buddy-boys call them "illegals", but they're LEGAL under US law, right?? Dwight Eisenhower signed off on the UNCHR and that means that those asylum seekers get to come to the US for asylum hearings. That's the law. Biden follows the law. And if you want to change the law, write your congressman. The law hasn't been changed for 70 years. Donny followed the law as well. Just like Biden does.

And Biden handles those arrivals just as Donny the Wonderful did. It's just that Fox proclaimed Donny as the Saviour of White Redneck America and Fox picks away at Biden like a neurotic chihuahua chewing a sore on its paw.

The rightie "outrage machine" is pretty good on the brown untermenschen from Central America spreading crime and disease. Not so good on accurate statistics - which show that your TX white redneck, hoo-hah GOP voter family is COVID infected at a similar rate to those nasty brown people. Because that's what the article you hooted at says and that's what the stats are. Go prove me wrong.

So serve me some more of YOUR pathetic bullshit.

Jebus, you people need deprogramming.
He supported the law to kill it, had his Justice Department stop defending it, and had his administration affirmatively argue in favor of repealing it.
I know that Fox supported his lie he wasn't protecting it and the rest of the MSM dutifully reported that he said he was protecting it, but if you bothered to actually look into what was actually happening, he spent all 4 years supporting moves to get rid of coverage for pre-existing conditions.

You would have to use more than Fox and CNN to get your news, though.

Okay, let's have your sources for "1 million illegals".
I asked for this earlier.
Still not sure if it is going to be "there is no actual source - just a facebook post" or it is going to be "Here is a source that has the number "1 million" in it, but it doesn't say what they think it says".

I put the odds about 39.5/59.5 right now. (1% chance they are actually right because I'm a generous person.)

Okay. Post the exact link.

Because this little Google search shows 300,000. And 300,000 only = 1 million in rightie-mathematics. Not real people mathematics.

Well, they didn't "enter" - at least not successfully - and they weren't asylum seekers and they weren't there because of Biden's "lax enforcement" because he's the guy under whose administration they got arrested.

These are people trying to sneak in and who got caught and kicked out, maybe / maybe not after having been found guilty of immigration offences and being banned. I presume they're your standard "wetbacks" - as they used to call illegals trying to swim across the Rio Grande.

So it's nothing to do with Biden and the Dems. They're there every year and they get caught every year.

The article makes the point that there may be more of them lately, due to increasingly dire conditions in Central America.

If they were there due to "Biden's lax policies", I am guessing they must have been sadly disappointed.

"At the current pace, the total border arrests for the fiscal year, which ends on Sept. 30, would be the highest since 2000, when nearly 1.7 million migrants were apprehended by U.S. authorities.

Biden, a Democrat who took office five months ago, has reversed many of the hardline immigration policies put in place by his Republican predecessor, former President Donald Trump.

Republicans blame Biden's policies for the upsurge in illegal border crossings in recent months, but migration experts say poverty, violence and food insecurity are factors driving migrants to leave Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador."

Illegal entries very proportionately to how fucked up conditions in their home country are. In 2000, conditions in Mexico were dire. They've since improved. Illegal entries dropped during the Bush and Obama administrations, due to the improvement in conditions in Mexico. They've now spiked again due to deterioration - not in Mexico - but in Central America. Hence the "caravans" from Guatemala and Honduras.

You aren't really following what's happening. Let me explain.

There are "refugees" who are pre selected and brought to the US for re settlement. Trump did indeed lower this target number, which was minute in any case.

There are "asylum seekers" who show up at the border and claim asylum under the UNCHR. They get hearings to demonstrate "well founded fear of persecution". This has been the law in the US - and every other Western country - since the 1950's. Neither Trump nor Biden can alter this law. Biden administers the law very similarly to Trump, in fact. The only difference is that the Dems allow entry into the USA and house families and children in internment camps pending their hearings. The selection criteria are very narrow and have not changed since the 1950's.

That's the 300,000 figure, as I assumed that you were referring to this category, as this is the only difference in the way the Biden admin enforces the law.

And there are illegals, who are arrested and deported under both GOP and Dem administrations. That's your 1 million figure.

So any notion that 1,000,000 illegals are going to flood TX due to the Dems being "flimsy on immigration" is total horseshit, isn't it? You get that figure by confabulating the # of illegals arrested and then deliberately confusing them with asylum seekers who are treated slightly better under the Biden admin and use that to create a bogeyman to scare GOP voters.

But you're wrong. You just can't admit it.

I went to the trouble of writing more stuff for you to read. Go read it. Learn something. And then we can have a discussion.

The Biden administration is centre-right and it would have to be loony-tunes left to simply open the border to illegal immigration. That might be the bullshit line that GOP pols feed to their sheeple, but no government works like that. You could appoint AOC president and even she wouldn't open the borders.

So go make a case as to how the change in Biden's policies actually impacts the #'s of illegals and I'll discuss it with you and I will look up stuff myself. Otherwise, you're just repeating GOP scare bullshit and wasting time.

Oh, vey. Biden did open the border to the tune of over 170k illegals/month. That is a fact acknowledged even by Reuters. Everything else is spin.

That's the same link you already posted?

If so, those are the same type of illegals who ALWAYS enter illicitly and are arrested and deported. Happened under Nixon. Happened under Reagan, Bush, Obama, Trump.

That's not Biden's fault. People cross illegally and always have. They get arrested by the Border Service / ICE and are then kicked out. If Biden "opened the border", these people presumably would not be arrested, but would continue to stroll northwards to San Antonio or Dallas or Chicago, waving at the locals and eventually all of Central America would relocate to Kansas. But that's nuts. No administration does that - except in rightie internet fairy tales. And that isn't what is happening.

If there is something else happening, please post another link, so I can look at it.

Illegal immigration has been front and center the last 25 years. It's been the issue(beside covid) this year because of what Biden did(or didn't do). Don't be angry when the voters decide to punish the Democrats next year. Hint, name calling people for wanting to maintain the rule of law is counterproductive.
So you have no issue with legal immigration or legal refugee claims, just illegal refugees?
