Without derail this thread; there's a guy I know who never fails to shout whenever he sees me: Bob(not my real name), my n*****!! The thing is, I'm white and he's black. I think it's hilarious, but I had a few people taking a closer look at me.
I have had that. Back in my younger days. I guess we have all kinda grown up from then and just call each by our names only.
He's a good friend of mine and a coworker and I know that for him it's a term of affection. Besides, I'm not going to correct a guy from Africa who is twice my size and I'm not little. ROTFLMFAO!!

I think we are entering into an era where white people should just learn to be humble. China and India are posed to become the greatest superpowers in the world within the next 10 years and it's going to be that much more important to learn how to get along with these people. Humility is the key, because white people that think they should be "entitled" to say the N word because of their freedom of speech, are negating or ignoring centuries of oppression by the hands of their ancestors against POC.

I have MANY friends of colour. My BF since childhood 50 plus years is black. He DESPISES what the young black males are doing with the Rap Crap as he calls it with all the derogatory words in it like Nigger, Niggah etc . He feels black males who listen to these ''songs'' of violence rape gun violence etc are influencing them. He is a retired Social Worker who spent his career ''trying'' to help black youth mostly males in Toronto but he told me it was like pissing against the wind in most cases.
