Alternative to deposits??? What are they?

How do you, as someone who is against deposits, suggest that an escort protect herself and her schedule/time, with precooked or longer booked appointments?

I look at it this way, completely and totally not my problem to solve.

Any guy who cannot commit to providing a $50 deposit to hold an appointment with a reputable provider that they want to see is just plain..........(you fill in the blanks). Your time is money and for the naysayers, who really cares. There are many men who provide deposits with no issues. You value yourself and time but there are many who just don’t give a $hit. Their opinion is absolutely worthless. If you do ask for deposits of whatever kind, you are making the conscious decision knowing how it can affect your business.

Agencies and indys run a little different so I don't think it's possible to compare them in regards to references. I am sure indys do references for peace of mind among other reasons , whereas an agency is fine just taking ones number as long as it isn't an app.

They also prevent new people to the hobby from seeing escorts as the will have no track record." That statement implies that it's impossible for guys to see any escort if they don't have a reference. That is a false statement. As I said before, there are indy girls that do not require references, but you do need to read their ads. A guy can see such a girl and then ask them for a reference soon after. There are plenty of agency girls that do not require references and some might be willing to give a reference. You just have to ask. Unless asking people is impossible now?

Ummmmm, yea, I am a big money guy because I suggested a $50 deposit should not be an issue for laying down $300+ for a session, lol.

But I love it when guys here think they know everything about what the women in the industry go through but actually know very very little, if anything at all. Has been said a few times, but a gift card to Amazon or the store/website of choice of the SP is a mostly anonymous way to send a deposit, a fair amount do have physical cards you can buy in-store. Definitely always check before sending one. I don't always need stuff from amazon

For those scared of e-transfer and being connected to a legal name...most banks nowadays (scotiabank, TD, CIBC) let you change your name /nickname and email attach to it fairly easily. I never had any problems switching from my legal name to Malika Fantasy when sending payment to terb for example, yes the 50/100$ will be debited from your account but not attach to your legal name

Cryptocurrency. More people need to get on that. Its a bit hard at the beginning if you have no idea, but setting up a wallet and either buying some with a prepaid CC, etransfer, a bitcoin atm are all doable and its sent anonymously without your legal name, though some wallets and sites are starting to ask for ID

Onlyfans, manyvideos etc. A large amount of SW now have some form of online platform or another and you can send tips on there up to 200$ (however OF does take 20% so you'll probably be ask to pay more to make up for the cut that they take...)

Some but not many, at least its not as common as before, do offer a coffee meet for like 150$ and a portion of that money does count and goes toward a deposit for an encounter in private.

Like I said, that could really just be a fluke of who I have dealt with and not the general case at all. (I would be happy to be wrong.)

I certainly sympathize with much of what the ladies want - deposits to ensure they are protected from time wasters; references to at least give them some idea of the kind of guy that they will be meeting up with; etc.

At the same time, it just gets harder and harder to book if you're a client. After 20+ years of doing this, I am just not reference-able according to the demanding standards of many ladies. One high end indy mandates that your reference be non agency and that you've seen her within the last 6 months. If I was banging 6 different girls a month, that's probably quite do-able. But....

I've banged two indies in the last 6 months. One is "retired" and sees me confidentially and won't give references. One has gone mysteriously MIA. Bingo - I'm not booking any new indies for a while then.

That leaves aside the whole "diplomacy" of asking a reg you've seen a dozen times - (pretty standard for me!) - for a reference so I can start banging a totally different lady (who my reg probably secretly hates!). While we hear the pitch "It's just business to us ladies"... it's not. Everyone gets jealous if they lose clients in any business - and doubly so if the business involves issues around personal connection, sexual attractiveness and intimacy.

Ditto girls who have "no same day bookings" rules. My schedule is nuts! I can deal with 3 litigation emergencies in a week. Or I can have 3 cases suddenly adjourn and sit around all week looking for shit to do to keep busy. In the latter case, I'm desperately seeking hot girls who have same day openings because I'm bored af, horny and looking for fun.

From a guy's PoV, the old days when you could find a girl with a handy gap in her schedule and get in your car, pausing only to hit the nearest ATM were pretty damn convenient!

A deposit from a new customer for an established SP certainly makes sense to me but any SP who requires a deposit will have a smaller pool of potential customers, proportional to the size of the deposit.

Let`s say an SP changes to require a deposit.
If her business remains the same, no problem.
If there is a slight drop, ok.
If there is a significant drop, is it worse than the occasion no-show?

It is up to each to decide what works best.

Newbie - 50% deposit
Repeat - 25%
Good customer - 0%
