It started before the riots. Latasha Harlins shooting
Asians only started arriving in North America in large numbers since the 1960's. In short time they became the "model minority" by being hard working, studying hard and law abiding. In many cases they opened stores in less affluent neighbourhoods and this caused resentment by another visible minority who have been here for over 400 years. (Are we allow to say this?)

Even the native Canadians hate asians. About 2 years ago , I witnessed an altercation between a native and an asian-chinese. It was an argument over a mall lounge chair. I was sitting in one of the chairs, they were both walking to one last available lounge chair, asian dude beat the native to it.

The native dude freaked out and laid into the chinese guy- "You fuck'n chink, that was my chair!, I hate all you chinks!, The asian responded in a very calm way- "Wow!, call me something I haven't heard before, dude, I've been called everything under the sun, Is that the best you can do?" and laughed.

Native guy then said "All you fuck'n chinks come over here and take over everything!" Asian then says "You snooze you lose, I can say a lot of things about your people, but I'm not going to lower myself to your level" , all the while pointing to a can of Molson Canadian that the native dude had just cracked open. (this was at 8 am) Native dude was flabbergasted since he couldn't get an angered response from the asian dude. Native guy took a few sips of beer and walked away shaking his head flabbergasted.

I then gave the chinese guy a thumbs up.

Many Blacks have a huge resentment against the Asians since the Rodney King days when they defended their stores from rioters with weapons.

Mentalities like this can only occur in the intellectually marginalized.

Imagine a rapist suing his victim for defending herself.

Racism is eternal.

LJ
If 'racism is eternal' then surely blacks resented asians well before the 'Rodney King Days?'

Again, you sound like a dummy. Dummy!

Another AndrewX black people are horrible thread I see. I am starting to see the partner. Probably should have just stuck to the story without injecting the racist opinions on top of it.
He must take turns with cantaro.

The funny thing is that the press wants to blame the ex president for crimes against Asians but what we are seeing is that the majority of these crimes are being committed by black people. And we know they didn't care for him. So what's this all about?

I think black people in the .U.S. consider Asians to be privileged. Go figure......
Where are you getting it's mostly the black community commiting hate crimes against Asians?

What if I told you that a Korean woman was sentenced to community service for shooting a black girl, Latasha Harlins, (15) in the back of the head... and killing her.... on camera.

******

According to a young witness named Ismail Ali, who was in the store with his older sister at the time, the middle-aged Soon Ja Du saw the girl and immediately yelled, “You bitch, you are trying to steal my orange juice.”

Harlins responded by lifting up her hand, which contained two dollar bills, and explained that she intended to pay. Du, however, grabbed the girl by the sweater, and the two began to fight.

Harlins repeated, “Let me go, let me go,” but the woman wouldn’t release her grip. In order to break free, the 15-year-old girl struck Du in the face four times, knocking her down. She picked the juice up from the floor, where it had fallen, placed it on the counter, and walked away.

“She was trying to walk out the door,” said Lakeshia Combs, Ali’s sister and another witness.

The reaction to Harlins’ killing was quick and bitter. Black residents protested outside of the Empire Liquor Market, and Soon Ja Du was taken into custody.

In the L.A. courtroom during the trial months later, the Harlins family sat in the front row, praying for justice. A security camera tape showed the entire heart-wrenching event on fuzzy, silent film.

“This is not television. This is not the movies,” said Deputy District Attorney Roxane Carvajal before showing the tape in court. “This is real life. You will see Latasha being killed. She will die in front of your eyes.”

The jury found Du guilty of voluntary manslaughter and recommended the maximum prison sentence of 16 years. White Judge Joyce Karlin, however, gave Du probation, 400 hours of community service, and a $500 fine. Du was released.

1: I would automatically assume that every single Korean on the planet is a stark raving murderous lunatic. No exceptions, that would be the only reasonable reaction to a story about one person right.
2: I would assume it's bullshit, we all know from Kdramas that when Koreans want to kill they arrange for some massive truck to ram into you. Jeez you people know nothing. Life in Korea is just like the Kdramas, no difference.

Really no other way to look at it, is there?
