Yes, it's a huge scandal in the UK. The FA has issued a statement and so has Boris, both denouncing racism among soccer fans.

The 3 missed penalty kicks which lost England the Euro Cup were all missed by Black players and the internet went wild with racial abuse and taunts. It was a major issue in the UK over the last 24 hours.

The Coach should never have assigned 2 very late substitutes and one an earlier substitute to take the penalties. Especially as one of the players was barely 19 years old. There were more experienced players in the team and pretty reliable penalty takers.
For goodness knows what reason, they were taken off to make way for these youngsters. There is also a controversy that England takes the knee before the start of the match. Boos from the mainly racist minded supporters in this aspect.

Agree. I think criticizing a player for poor play is fair. Just like we criticize Matthews and Marner when they perform poorly. Criticizing a player's race should be off limits. Furthermore, we should take politics (like taking a knee) out of sports altogether.

Nothing to do with politics when both Black and White players take a knee to try and stamp out these despicable acts that these players have to go through. I do care about disrespecting the flag and the country they deserve to be booed protest on your own time not at work hell I think anyone who protests at work should be fired instantly do it on your own time
