''Minister Lecce previously announced the new curriculum will bring early math streaming to an end, a practice he says created barriers for racialized and historically marginalized groups.''
Huh?......
There’s a saying; “a rising tide lifts all boats”.
It’s simplistic. It’s truthful. But it defies the ideology pushed by critical race theory, socialist agenda, or the indoctrination within the education system.
Thr failures within the math systems are a direct result of the poor quality of educators. Yes there absolutely is a classism that denotes educational successes. Poorer kids typically get poorer grades, richer kids get better grades. Racial correlation just gives a talking point for white people to feign concern - and find a new way to institutionalize away of leveling the playing field, in a manner that actually furthers the divide. Perhaps it’s also of no surprise, “poorer” schools usually end up with poorer teachers - not that we can prove it since the unions have fought against standardized testing for educators
They’re no longer trying to raise the tide, but rather sink all the boats to create equality.
I’ve removed my child from the public education system because of the tone and questionable material they were being taught. It’s a considerable expense, but the difference is glaringly obvious.
