If someone really likes another person, they can be taken advantage of. I know a stripper that really liked a guy and bought him a Hummer (I think they used to sell for what, $100k?), sold her condo, and rented a McMansion for about $5k/month for a year. They lived the dream as King and Queen on her dime. When the money ran out, the guy disappeared.

If a gal really likes you and finds you really attractive she'll bend over backwards for you, and vice versa. Just the nature of the beast.

Use your head and if you want to succeed in this life and not fall prey.

Wow - this is a revelation - I guess there must be a few women like that.
Most men would be happy to date an attractive woman that has her shit together and share life together (emotional, sexual and financial)

It is not impossible. Frankly a lot of SPs are super businesswomen, they know their worth and are not afraid to market and brand themselves.
Hopefully they all set themselves up for life instead of shopping for Prada at Yorkville.

Well I met this guy about 4 months ago and I was honest with him about my profession . He said he thought that was really cool. So fast forward he invites me out for a few drinks and i thought i'll pay because I didn't know at the time if I was going to go home with him . So he says thank you thank you for such a lovely evening . I said it was my pleasure lets do it again sometime. So He asks me if I want to go to a steak house and I said sure I'll make reservations so we get there and the bill comes and he says he forgot his debit card . So I say no worries you can get next dinner. So a few days later he comes over and asks if he can use my computer and i said ok so he goes on a site with mens clothing and he says to me this outfit is only 459 dollars on sale . I said to him well buy it for yourself then and he says well my birthdays coming up in a week if you want to buy me something . I just laughed because hes just a friend with benefits . He is acting like he's a giggalo and quite frankly the fact that he's doing this I want nothing to do with him. I don't mind paying half of the bill for dinner even though the way my dad raised me is old school he and and all my guy friends say the man should foot the bill. It gets even better after not talking to him for 3 weeks he now calls me up asking if he can get a loan of 1000$ he says his car insurance won't be paid and he won't be able to drive if he doesn't pay it. hahaha i'm like seriously dude lose my number so i blocked him . But I know there are women out there that fall for this shit and end up paying for men just like how men think women use men for money and if i win the lottery and i feel like being a sugar momma to some hot 29 year old it would be ok if i won millions in the lottery ;)
You got pimped.

That's because you give women too much respect. You have to treat them like crap, your life depends on it.

How will that wisdom work out ? A bit harsh no

I think it’s hard in general for people to change ...the bad one to become more bad , yea maybe... the good ones most of the times only see good and act accordingly... but give too much attention and respect and you will be walked all over too ..... women can be very easily manipulated ( even the smart ones ) and many guys do just that to get what they want ... but we shouldn’t turn into assholes and neither be pushovers “ nice guy “ syndrome.... maybe one must find the balance and be a little bit of both lol

when she offered to pay he probably got the wrong message ...

once upon a time there were hard working men and pretty women ...now there’s hard working women and pretty men lol , sugar mommas are in short supply .....

GL to the OP , for sure he hoped she would consider his services ... I have heard of many well off mature women who have liked such arrangements and liked dictating the terms etc ... myself I have experienced dating a mature woman (also few ONS )as a young man but never enjoyed being supported financially , was too old school for that

Good that you kicked him to the curb.
We need to do that more, with dating in both genders.

L.D.
Agreed on both genders. How many women do this exact thing? I mean women go on dating apps purposely to get free meals. It is kinda pathetic.

100% I went on a dating app a few years ago and took a lady to lunch on Queen W - next time another place. There was no intention or offer on her part to pay the second time. She was on the Ontario Sunshine List $100,000+ / year - that was the end. Too cheap to share life, no thanks. Buh bye.
My best GF relationship was with a woman that had little but enjoyed every day and every moment and prepared homemade picnics from time to time. Happy life.

I met someone through the personals, years ago and had to take her for a meal. That was our date. We hated each other. To make polite conversation, I asked her how the whole "personals dating" scenario was working out. She said it was ok. If the guy was a loser, she still got a free meal out of it.
As it turned out. I was. And she did.

Exactly. Common attitude that is truly disgusting if you ask me.

You made the right move. But I gotta hand it to the guy for getting as far as he did, nothing strokes a guys ego like when a lady buys you a drink or if your really lucky dinner. When I was younger it would piss close friends & my older siblings off to no end when a stripper would buy me drinks. Can't say as any hot 20 year olds have boughten me drinks lately but a few 40+ cougars I've met at hotel bars while travelling have tried to lure me in with drinks & oysters...beware of the cougars

I met one guy that also wanted me to buy him gifts, pay for his rent, car, etc. He always told me that something happened and he couldn't pay by himself. Finally, I broke up with him. Since that time I've been dating only older men. Being an active user of dating sites, I prefer to be honest in my profile, so I expect people are also telling me the truth. Of course, everyone can lie, but it is better to use the checked sources, for example, the elite singles rating is pretty high. I had two dates with different men from this site.
