I tried it.
Positive, I can fit my up sized fries on the other side of the container
Negative, They only give one napkin, fucking messy to eat. Need to get a new shirt after.

I won't repeat.

I haven’t eaten any fast food since the pandemic started last spring. I find their prices totally outrageous and I now enjoy making home cooked meals instead. And I’ve lost 15 lbs.

I have never heard from ANYBODY y specifically WHICH ingredient in a hamburger, or cheeseburger, they feel is unhealthy.

Basic ingredients:

Bread - OK, this is the one ingredient that I actually feel is unhealthy, but there are a zillion other foods that are basically pure bread that no-one ever attacks.

Meat. Meat is healthy, especially when you combine meat with animal fat.

Tomatoes, lettuce, onions pickles - any objections?

Special sauce (mayo) - eggs, vinegar - not bad, probably made with soybean oil, which I think is unhealthy, but overall not bad.

Ketchup. Tomatoes, vinegar, sugar. Lots of sugar, which ain't good, but in total on one burger not too much.

Cheese. Dairy, fat and protein, good.

So overall not a terrible food, far far better than pizza, or almost anything you can get a Starbucks or Tim Hortons, but , damn, everyone loves to rail againgst the burger.

It's the low quality ingredients, massive quantities of them, and substandard food handling
A common theme many people go by is make sure to order something unique (no pickle on burger, no salt on fries) simply to avoid getting the garbage left under heat lamps for hours

Meat is meat but McDs meat just tastes awful in general, even when directly compared to other fast food chains (King, Wendy, Harvey, etc)
Mayo (which is a core McD product to make all their sauces) has tons of fat and calories (and again, the "special sauce" just tastes bad; millions of healthier alternatives)
Cheese is good but McD does not use real cheese, that processed stuff is again full of fats and salts
I will also throw a bash in against the "best" fries nonsense (McD has some of the worst in their field)

I am baffled at how you think anything McDs serves is better than fresh made foods (eg pizza)

You are just being willfully blind if you actually are serious that Starbucks foods are worse for you or lower quality
Tims is a toss up (some foods are good, some not so good) but their menu is certainly healthier than McD is

I can attest that by the size of my explosive bowel movement shortly after inhaling the grand gross Big Mac ,That it was in fact bigger. Will not repeat. Saw the commercial and it hooked me, even though I rarely eat fast food I wanted to try it for shits and giggles. I didn’t get any giggles.

The problem is mostly the extra salty fries and the extra sugary drinks. Plus their size!

I love burgers but not in fast food. The one I make at home are much better.

I eat out every month or so for Sushi and shish taouk chicken.

Sooooooo,,, not ONE person actually addressed my comment.

WHICH SPECIFIC INGREDIENT in a big mac - not sugary drinks, or fries, which I DID NOT DISCUSS - nor is it the focus of this thread - - (hello!? - please tell me how Starbucks or Tim Hortons or Harveys has LESS sugar than McDonalds?)

is unacceptable.

Lets go over it again.

Bread? Is a McDonalds bun worse than Harveys, Wendys, Burger King, A& W, or any other bun? Panera Bread? All the bread that is in a pizza at your local pizza joint? PROVE it to me.

Beef? EVIDENCE that McDonalds beef is lower quality than anyone else's?
Tomatoes? Speak up.
Onions? I can't HEAR YOU!
Lettuce? Any objections? Are their vegetables WORSE than the vegetables in any other restaurant's salads?
Mayo? Anything different than the mayo in any other restaurant's servings?
Ketchup? I know that ketchup is not great, lots of sugar. PROVE FACTUALLY to me that McDonalds ketchup is any different than any other Ketchup.

I have zero interest in unsubstantiated musings. SHOW ME the proof.

Please.

And please provide PROOF that McDonalds ingredients are lower quality than other comparable offerings?

Yes I know Mickey's is c grade anyway but always liked a Big Mac, ate a few a year. Tonight my friend and I decide to go for the Grande one just out. WHAT A FUCKING RIP OFF!!! We both had one so we could compare, the burger patties were 1/8" thick, both sandwiches or 4 patties to compare. In other words no extra beef which is the costliest item, they just squish a regular pattie down to cover more area. Oh yes; bigger bun; an extra pickle and squirt of sauce but thats it and the fucks charge over $2 for this one vs a regular one

McDonald's, fuck you!!! I will NEVER use your establishments again, and the more people I can warn about this scam, the better, terbites join the fight against this kind of consumer rip!
Yeah, McDonalds got to where it is today by ripping people off. Right.

Pizza is basically sugar. Look up the biology of refined carbs. Please provide evidence that McDonalds food is not fresh.

And by the way, frozen is usually fresher than 'fresh'.

A burger such as a Big MAc is actually a pretty good balanced diet.

You did read original post about fresh pizza right?
Frozen pizza is an entirely different beast and yes has way more sugars and other junk in it

Pizza also has way higher protein counts than a McD burger (which should tell you something about how bad processed meats / cheese are) and most people (even kids) tend to add veggies to pizza
Plus lots of low carb, gluten free, whole wheat, whatever floats your boat healthier options

Please provide evidence that McDonalds food is not fresh.
Have you ever visited a McDs? Unless you order something special it is already cooked already sitting under those heat lamps (fries) or in the box (patties)

Pizza is made fresh to order (hence why it takes 20+ mins and is not fast food)

And by the way, frozen is usually fresher than 'fresh'.

A burger such as a Big MAc is actually a pretty good balanced diet.
Both these quotes are total nonsense

A Big Mac is 550 cals for the sandwich alone, 45g of carbs, 30g of fat
And don't forget the 1100+ mg of salt (another huge clue, people salt meats heavily to try and slow down spoilage)

Contrast against a Pizza slice (I just chose all dressed but pick your poison)
250 cals (half a BM)
29g of carbs (and pizza is mostly bread; yet still less than BM)
9g fat (3rd of BM)
610 mg salt (just over half)

Its actually healthier to take a bag of chips from the pizza place than it is to eat the fries from McD as well
And pizza place has way more varieties of drink options (whereas McD is pop dominated)

That is me! Double Whooper. Extra cheese but can you believe I have to actually tell them to put the extra cheese between the meat patties.
Given your ample bosom, this sounds soooo dirty lol....

A grande big mac value meal has about 1300 calories.

If that is your lunch, that alone is more than half your calorie requirements for the day.

Yes, most main meals are at least of your daily calories.

I believe that the facts laid obout below disprove your "Total Nonsense" snip.

Pizza is mostly refined carbs, which turn to sugar when digested. So frozen or fresh, they both have refined carbs that have the same effect.

I believe your point about protein is wrong. Maybe you can show me the evidence for this higher protein you talk about, but from the link below a slice of pizza has from 8 - 12 g of protein, whereas a big mac has 25 g of protein.

Salt is no longer considered bad for you in normal quantities. Bad if too little, bad if too much.

Also, one slice of pizza is being compared to a big - mac - I don't think anyone considers one slice of pizza a meal. To get the same protein you would need about 2.5 slices of pizza, and then the2.5 slices of pizza has :

625 Calories
72.5 g of carbs
23 g of fat
1525 g salt.

They are sitting under those lamps but they are continuously being made, because of the volume.

I said nothing about fries or drinks.
