Young people are inclined to be left-leaning in every generation.
Don't know if today's generation will be less inclined to drift to
the right as they grow older, richer and dumber.

it's one thing to get more conservative. It's another thing to support a party of conspiracy theories that they have now become and believe that the deplorables including hicks and neo nazis are your friends.

They aren't growing richer, so that plan isn't likely to work anymore.

My generation barely watches TV, and I don't have CNN nor do I know much about the program these days.
so you do not know much about cable news programs, yet you trolled/ started a post critical of one of them and their viewers ????
Is it safe to say you are not well informed about many of the topics in your 24/7 posting marathon?

The younger generation is more educated
That is debatable

Here I fixed your post for you, pick one you like
The younger generation is more educated entitled
The younger generation is more educated indoctrinated

One thing is for sure is the younger generation lacks common sense

Can you find me any info to show that old media is attracting new viewers to replace all the dying ones? Just like how right wing parties are not attracting many young voters...
Gee I thought your generation was more educated, yet you can not seem to figure out what an upward trending graph means

young idealists think they can change the world , or worse try to change other people
Then they assume some responsibility ( career, family) and over time it is them who wind up changing

although in contrast to your view they grow older, richer, more experienced and wiser.
One soon realizes you can not change other people

Their focus / priorities also changes
Eliminating poverty world wide is something they would still like to see, that becomes a secondary priority to taking care of their family

You seem pretty arrogant and uninformed, yet you are projecting that others are.

Ha, Ha
You get annoyed when you get called out for what you are

Uniformed???
You started this thread about cable news networks, yet when called out on some factual issues you admit you are uninformed about cable news networks
WTF ???????

Do not blame me when you admit you do not know much about the topics in your never ending 24/7 biased posting marathon
When you troll the way you do, you are bound to get your lines fouled up

Fox News Viewership Plummets: First Time Behind CNN And MSNBC In Two Decades

While Fox News has dominated cable news for the better part of 20 years, it has also been the most-watched basic cable network for the past five years, with its highest ratingsever in 2020.
Yet Fox's ratings have dipped since Election Day, with average viewership reportedly down approximately 20%compared to pre-November levels.
Over the first full week of 2021 (Jan. 4 through Jan. 10), CNN ranked first among cable networks (roughly 2.8 million viewers per day; 4.2 million in primetime) followed by MSNBC (2.3 million per day ;3.8 million in primetime) and Fox News in third (1.7 million per day; 3.2 million in primetime).
Over the first two weeks of 2021, Fox averaged nearly 800,000 fewer total day viewers than MSNBC, and around 1 million fewer than CNN, according to Mediate, and every day since Jan. 4, Fox has trailed both MSNBC and CNN in the crucial age 25-54 demographic.
Jan. 6, the day the U.S Capitol was ransacked, was CNN's most-watched day in the network's history, and in primetime that evening, CNN averaged 8.2 million viewers, nearly double the viewership of Fox News (4.6 million).

I guess that the majority of Americans have now finally realized who is the real fake news and have jumped ship!!
You're looking at an extremely short time frame. Its irrelevant. How has it fared for each network since January? See below

CNN Loses Nearly 70% Of Its Viewers Since Trump Left Office

FONT SIZE:
Ratings from Neilsen Media Research reported Tuesday indicated that CNN lost 67% of its total viewers since January, when Donald Trump left the White House.

During the primetime hours of 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. (EST), CNN lost around 65% of its total viewers since January. In the critical 25-54 age demographic, the network lost 71% of its viewers for both the day and primetime.
CNN’s drop in viewers is larger than its competitors, but all major cable news shows have experienced a drop. MSNBC had the second-largest drop in viewership since January, losing 49% of its total viewership between January and May. In the 25-54 age demographic, the network lost 63% of its viewers. During primetime hours, MSNBC lost 42% of its total viewers and 58% of viewers between the ages of 25 and 54.
Fox News had the least substantial drop out of all networks, losing 12% of its total viewers and 15% of viewers between the ages of 25-54 between January and May.

You posted irrelevant info, and you come across as really douchey.
Where is the info about people under 40 watching CNN, FOX, MSNBC etc? And their media viewing habits?

You posted irrelevant info,
How the hell would you know what is irrelevant?
you admitted you do not know much about cable news programs,

You have a shot gun approach to non stop posting of biased sensational left wing headlines and you have the nerve to claim anyone else's info is irrelevant?
Grow up

and you come across as really douchey.
Says the fool who posts on subjects he admits he does not know much about
It is clear you are trying to promote an ideology, without regard for facts or the truth
Intentionally trying to mislead others is about as douchey as it gets

My guess is you do not even bother to read the articles if the headline fits the loonie left agenda and the headline is sensational

I do not do internet searches on command
Look it up yourself if you want.... knock yourself out

Its not like it is going to distract too much time from your loonie left wing headline trolling

This is what I found, if you want attribution by age demographics, nobody is stopping you from searching

You get shown for troll that you are with simple logic and your own foolish words

And your response is unfounded personal attacks about age and marital status, despite the fact I have never reveled either my age nor my marital status..

Argue the facts or slither away

Neither Fox nor CNN can claim to be non partisan
Agree 100%

if Fox viewers are delusional (as you describe) then so are CNN viewers are delusional

Don Lemon or chris cuomo are no more trustworthy to provide unbiased reporting than is Tucker Carleson

if you buy the drival CNN spreads as gospel then you do not have a good grasp on reality
Similarly one needs to retain some skepticism when watching Fox news
It is a matter of degree.

CNN puts on a left of centre slant. FOX, is Bizarro world right wing.

Have you ever seen a CNN anchor on the stage at a Biden rally the way that FOX anchors did with trump?

That, right there, illustrates the difference in degree of partisanship.

Which Fox anchor was on stage with Trump?

meanwhile
what really matters

CNN and MSNBC have reporting that is similar to each other and radically different than FOX. As such, it appears that from your graph, less people are interested in FOX's style of reporting than the reporting of the other 2 networks.

FOX appears to be higher because there is no other mainstream network willing to put out the ridiculous stuff that they do. There is no major network for them to split the viewership with.

My generation barely watches TV, and I don't have CNN nor do I know much about the program these days.

The younger generation is more educated and has a wider selection of media available to choose from.

I do watch snippets of Maher online sometimes, but it's starting to get stale.

Can you find me any info to show that old media is attracting new viewers to replace all the dying ones? Just like how right wing parties are not attracting many young voters...
I'm not so sure about that. Agree with the rest of your post.
