Actually Bagilson, I think everybody's life matters and murder is bad no matter who does it and who the victim is.

I just think it's more difficult to arrest, prosecute and convict gangland killers than the guys in this thread sitting at their keyboards taking a break from porn hub for 15 minutes. That's because I actually know something about the justice system.
HEY!
I take 5/10 minutes breaks.

How can it be anybody's else fault but the ones that pulled the trigger?
darts somehow manages to always lay the blame at the foot of the left. I think that he feels that left wing policies always enable these kinds of gun crimes.

i wonder if he will respond.

Hey Butler. You know that you actually have to stand up and testify in court, huh? And when you do that, your kids and friends and other relatives get shot too. I don't think it's a perfect utopian system either. But it's one thing for a dude with an exec job and a nice house in the burbs in a no crime zone to stomp and slam the table. It's a little different if you're actually living in the hood and trying to survive and protect your kids.

At some point, the killer will be ID-ed, probably as part of a plea deal and the dude who ID's him will go into protective custody and then the Witness Protection Program. But the number of "good citizens" who will risk themselves is going to be minimal.
Crime Stoppers. Get name. Get Warrant. Get Gun. Get Ballistics.
They hurt kids. Id fucking testify in a heartbeat.

Whatever you do, don't blame the shooter. Blame Canadian gun owners, blame the Americans, blame the weather, but never the shooter.
Nah....you're projecting. Pretty much everybody blames the shooter. Don't get all weirdly Qanon.

I'm glad the two of us are on the same page. There aren't many of us left. It's a radical sentiment but I also blame the shooter. Even though it's far easier to blame gun laws, guns, racism, the criminal justice system, and the environment the shooter grew up in.

Your an old white guy who knows nothing about the people living in those communities, what you have to say is totally irrelevant.
So your answer is.......the people in the community are ok living with a five year old on life support 🤔and not trying to catch the shooters? So mind your own business?

And there is the second problem. Its my community too. Toronto is my Community, Ontario is my Community. Canada is my Community. I want to live in a safe community. So yes I get to have a say. To have the expectation that members of my community will stand up for a five year old girl on life support shot by scum.

Why are you promoting separation and ghettoization instead of commonality? Its exactly that mindset that seeds hatred and racism.

Sure you would. You don't live there and this is all hypothetical to you.

IF the gun hasn't been ditched - which it has 100% for sure, if there's been a shooting.

And if you find the gun, what then?...... "I was just keeping the gun for a guy who paid me $50 to hold it. His name was "Joe". I forget how tall he was. I think he was Jamaican. I have a bad memory."

Illegal possession of a firearm. 6 months jail.

The cops already know who did the shooting btw. They knew an hour or so after the hit from their snitches. "The word is that XXXX and his posse did the shoot. Nah, I wasn't there. But I know, man. Everybody knows."

Calling crime stoppers is far better than hiding and doing nothing.

You can possibly get a FULL name, description. The possible shooter is now on the radar. These shooters have proven that they're among the dumbest people on the planet so don't assume the gun has been ditched. Dude probably has it on his bedside night table with his prints all over it.

Or you can do nothing, and nothing gets resolved ever, but only gets worse over time.

Its this cynicism that lets them walk free. I have stood up in the past to bullies. More than once stopped a beating(once in front of the Royal Alex Theatre of all places). Stopped females being hassassed on the Subway. And you know what?

I'm not the only one. People do give a shit Mandrill. We will step up. It's a mindset.

The guy in the story above if a witness says he was the shooter he goes away for 15-25. Thats why theydo need to step up.

Congratulations, Butler.

Let me tell you the story about a woman who a dealer thought was a snitch who literally had her skull kicked in, in front of witnesses in the project who stood by and then cleaned up the mess afterwards before the cops came, so the dealer would give them free drugs later. "Standing up to bullies" ain't the same thing.

The difference is this.

A bunch of addicts.....

A 5 year old at a Birthday Party.

If that doesn't cause the people to stand up, nothing will. And the area is lost. Is that what you want to encourage. To say its ok? Because it isn't. Your tactic agreement with doing nothing only makes the problem worse.

And that you are a part of the justice system only makes it scarier. If it's members don't take it seriously, who will?

Sorry but shooting kids at a birthday party is a red line. And any adult that doesn't see that and do something about it is a coward. And is not stepping up to be the adult. They are letting the animals win.

then perhaps we need more like the us system where for a crime you describe above you spend decades in jail

you get x amount for drug crimes then added on for each additional crime no deals no pleas, full penalty

we need to gain control now or lose it forever these thugs are getting bolder and bolder

It's gotta be the fault of the left, correct? (Not expecting an on topic response.)
Of course it is. You handcuff the police this is the result.
