I’m sympathetic to your viewpoint but you’d be hard pressed to find one sanctioned by the US government that celebrates the burning alive of children. That’s the state of affairs in the Deep South of the Middle East.

That combined with the way Israelis freak out and attack Palestinians who dare raise the Palestinian flag in Israel is really symptomatic of the changes.
Palestinian Lives Matter is a game changer, as were the reports on Israeli apartheid.

All of a sudden this is the flag of the oppressed fighting for freedom while the Israeli flag is the flag of apartheid.

Wow that's a dumb idea. There are people who hate the star of david on a flag but that's because of their own racism.
