2-0 Czechs now. Have you seen the second goal?? You cannot teach such strike. Pure talent!
Yes, the Czechs got a lucky deflection resulting in a semi breakaway, David Marshall committed to the challenge too soon and Shick took advantage. The Scots weren't so lucky, they could have scored but the forward fished for a penalty instead of going for the header...CR7 doesn't miss those.

Slovakia vs Poland resembled a Serie A match with so many starters in the Italian League. The red card was extremely harsh, the Slovak got away with a Swan Lake.

Canada has a CR7 of their own developing, she's of Dutch descent so Marco Van Basten. A few of those passes came from Beckie.

The next best thing to see Denmark win is to see Sweden lose.

When we get deLigt back we'll have a chance to go far
Honestly, it's possible Holland gets better as the go deeper in the tournament Being a huge fan of Dutch football (Ajax) would love to see them win it. The key man for this is Frank De Boer IMO. If he can find that coaching form from his early years and time at Ajax, then I can see it happen.

I have been following her since the U17 world cup in Brazil few years ago.

In the last woman world cup she was 18. Canada did poorly. I would have put her on the field up front and would have put Sinclair behind as attacking mid-fielder (where she should habe been playing for the last 4 years!).

Look at the quality of her first touch. The difference is there. As Platini said show me someone who has an amazing first touch and I will show you a great soccer player ;)

Spain is not scoring! But so great to watch. Look at Pedri he can glue the ball to his feet like Messi!

They might, now that Morata is off.

Why? Swedes love to fuck and they don't concede. Yogi Berra says, "It was deja vu all over again".

Imagine what they could do if they had a Great Zlatanissimo!

Sinclair is 38 now, she's only getting in the way and she's hurting Beckie and Lawrence in the process. We lost a medal in Brazil and got eliminated from the WWC because of her. Time to retire.

Can’t believe they did not!

Did the Sweede played at all? Did not saw them. They were in yellow?
They got what they came for, take a point off the group favourites and then go for it against the other two. Alexander Isak had a good look in the first half.

Spain just couldn't put it in, the Swedes defended most of the time with little attack. But Spain kept missing, I think the best player was Alba which hustled like crazy.

Great goal by the Czecks from 50 yards away

Slovenia managed to win against Poland

The best game today was America's cup Argentina- Chile. Many fouls, yellow cards, penalty. A beautiful free kick from Messi that scored, the whole thing was intense. Sanchez was not there for Chile. Ended up 1-1. Argentina was not as dominant as back in the day.

Chile scored from one of the most strangest awarded penalty. Especially after the ball was already deflected for what should have been a corner.
Messi's Argentina team mates let him down with quite a few of his deliveries that should have been tape ins were squandered.
Having said that Chile should get some credit for the manner in which they took the game to Argentina in the second half.

Thank you for the video danmand, I had to replay parts of it to understand it. Very informative with a heart warming ending.

So far silence from the one player who's worked closest with Eriksen.

Nicolo Barella hasn't made a public statement. However he has spoken with Simon Kjaer to act as a translator, the defender is fluent in Italian. He'll be speaking with Eriksen directly once he's lucid and rested enough. According to La Gazetta dello Sport.

Looks like he'll make a full recovery. Whether he'll ever play again is a question mark though

I cannot believe anyone would want him to play at a top level anymore.

Who wants to see this happening again?
