Yup. You are still defending producers demanding and accepting from minors. Because not policing one makes them powerful enough to demand this from anyone. Would you approve of the same for positions in Harvard Law School? Who also get that many submissions? How about Congressoinal internships?(oh wait that did happen!), numerous other rare positions?

No one's going to "police" the film biz. As long as the interaction is consensual, no one wants it to be policed. The issues are if the interaction is non consensual, which is how the incidents w Weinstein were described after the fact or involving minors.
If we're talking about a 25 year old actress who voluntarily blows a director to get a role, what are you going to do, Butler? Run into the bedroom and scream at the girl: "This is wrong!
