Yes, in the rational world if you claim something happened you need evidence. Still waiting for any evidence that this was an intentional act like trump was suggesting or even an accidental release.
It's true because someone said so, come on man!!!

I don't believe any of you are waiting for anything. If you had, you wouldn't have dismissed it so easily. This is just another nothing political game. Except this one killed millions. Yawn.

Oh, well. Looks like they'll look into it, but I wouldn't hold my breath with this administration.
To be fair, the Trump administration appears not to have looked into it much at all. If these reports about there being lots and lots of intelligence on it are true, it seems Trump refused to let them do the work or report on it. (I am not convinced these reports are true.)

You mean like when Trump was told about the severity of COVID by his "good friend" Chinese leader and downplayed it???
That is the main implication of the "strong lab leak" story (the one where it was engineered by China) - that Trump deliberately did the Chinese bidding to make it worse and damage the US.
(I don't see any real reason to think it was even the "weak lab leak" story, although that may still end up being true. Unlikely things do happen sometimes.)

Strange that you don't understand why the vast majority of people didn't accept Trump's claims of a China manufactured virus without any evidence.

It's not strange at all because there actually was evidence at the time. Just enough evidence to start asking questions. But, the possibility of Trump being right prevented any questions or investigations from going forward. The subject was censored, ridiculed and became off limits.

You're saying that Trump was so cowed by people disagreeing with him that he called off his own Intelligence agency's investigation?
I hadn't realized he was such a pussy.

Or, you know, that didn't happen.

What evidence was there to support Trump's claims? Would love to hear this.
