The UN can reinstitute the sanctions that were in place that force Iran to the table in the first place. If Iran wants to follow North Korea's lead then they can face the same consequences.
I'm glad to hear you fully support the UN and for all member states abiding by all resolutions and investigations.

UN Rights Council Votes for Probe Into 'Crimes' Committed in Israel-Gaza Fighting
Israel says it will not cooperate with the investigation, which is also authorized to cover events in Jerusalem, as twenty-four of the forum's 47 member states voted in favor of the resolution

Until you back Israel signing and abiding by the NPT, your criticism of Iran is incredibly hypocritical.
This is another of your stupid arguments to excuse Iran. Israel had nukes when the NPT was signed so even if they joined, they would have been allowed to keep them.

Iran signed the NPT yet they still have an absolutely massive enrichment capacity and have enriched fuel to a point that is only useful as a final step before weapons grade.

I'm glad to hear you fully support the UN and for all member states ...
I said the UN, not the dictator's council. But look at you trying to distract from Iran by blaming Israel.

So you are okay with a country enriching to 60%?

And if you took the time to look into the IAEA discussions, you will find little progress because Iran is insisting on keeping their ridiculous enrichment capacity for one commercial reactor.
Imagine you get divorced from your wife but you keep insisting that she does not have the right to date other men. You are doing the exact same thing.

This is priceless.
I'm amazed you can be this blatantly hypocritical, to go from one post demanding Iran listen to the UN to another when you call them the 'dictators council'
Holy shit.

You support and defend a country that stole nuclear material and research from the US, built the bomb and tried to sell it to apartheid South Africa and who also refuses to sign the NPT.
Yet out of the other side of your mouth you demand that Iran be sanctioned for not abiding by the voluntary extra protocols that the US ended.
Wow.

Look at the pathetic excuses you make to avoid criticizing a country a half step from weapon grade uranium.
We are waiting for you to criticize Israel for having Nuclear weapons.

I have never understood why it is OK for Israel to have nuclear weapons while it is not OK for Iran to have nuclear weapons.

Maybe, and I say maybe, the middle east would become more stable if Iran and Israel both had to exist under a MAD scenario.

Or if the middle east became a nuclear weapons free zone.

PS: South Africa had the nuclear bomb (aquire from Israel) but voluntarII gave it up after Apartheid ended.

It is unreasonable to hold Iran to the NPT that was signed by the shah, otherwise, the king of Belgium still owns the congo, Israel would not exist because the British promised it to the arabs first.

Basketcase wants to be the arbiter of which BS treaties to disregard and which BS treaties to regard, he will do whatever is necessary to protect the country he loves most dearly.

He will never see the issue from a Canadian perspective and with regards to what is best for this country. What is best for this country is to get Iran back on the deal.

If my divorce included me signing a clause saying I would receive financial support for not dating and I chose to sign, then it's a contract. That is what the NPT is like. Iran chose to sign the NPT and have not chosen to withdraw. That means they have no legal right to any nuclear activity that isn't for civilian use. There is absolutely no civilian use of 60% Uranium.

The NPT has a very clear mechanism to withdraw from it. North Korea did it not too long ago and if that's what Iran wants to do then they are free to.

Is there something about Iran that you think warrants an exception (because the US has already had to bribe Saudi Arabia from following the same path. Do you think the world would be a better place if more countries controlled nukes?

p.s. The Canadian perspective IS that the spread of nuclear weapons is bad.

The Iranians are going to stick it up Biden's ass. I still remember the videos of skids full of cash Obama Hussein shipped to Iran, in exchange of nothing. You can't have good intentions with terrorist supporting countries like Iran. Best is to use small size nuclear devices and hit their nuclear facilities or provide Persians with weapons so they can rise against the fascist mullahs.

No, its like if you got money for not dating in exchange for your wife not posting the nude pictures of you and the dog. Only then she went and posted the pictures of the dog and claimed you still couldn't date.

You still can't understand that countries with nukes who signed the NPT were allowed to keep their nukes.
They still signed the NPT.
People who back countries that don't sign the NPT have no right criticizing those who did and are abiding by their treaties.

You are arguing over ceremony. If they intended to stick with the NPT they would not need a deal. They already have the shit sanctioned out of them as if they are breaking the NPT.

So economic incentive to "bribe" SA from making nukes is good, and economic incentives to "bribe" Iran from making nukes is bad, and more nukes is bad and Israel having nukes is good.

Good comparison. Iran trying to threaten the world with these extreme nuclear actions is exactly the your ex threatening to release evidence of your bestiality. Why do you think I've been so critical of it?

Of course this is yet another of your double standards against Israel. You keep pretending to hate nuclear propagation but refuse to criticize Iran.

So your argument is international treaties are pointless?

And yes, a country enriching to 60% deserves to be sanctioned the shit out of, NPT or not.

Why are you incapable of criticizing anyone without trying to make everything about Israel?

Just establishing that your complaints about Iran are only based on your incredibly partisan views about Israel and not based working towards peace.
Israel should shut up about Iran and the NPT until they sign the treaty themselves.
You too.
