I don't think AOC is old enough...but she's not seasoned enough for the gig. I think Katie P would be fantastic. With like a Senator Angus King from Maine on the ticket. I think he appeals to a wider group of voters, adds the perception of gravitas and is officially an independent (like Bernie).

That Marketing and Advertising alone is bigger than R&D has been something people have been pointing out for ages.
I had no idea the stock buybacks and dividends were at these numbers though.

list of donors contributing to the Biden/Harris campaign.

the WH in 2024 what do you think the odds will be of seeing
big pharma to spend their earnings on R&D instead of
shares buyback and lower obscene drug prices to more
affordable level?

Porter and her white board cut through a lot of the corporate speak BS in theses hearings. As the saying goes, she brings receipts. As for her embarrassing anyone....don't you need the ability to feel shame to be embarrassed?

Companies that inflate their stock price through buybacks are scummy. I'm all for paying dividends, that's great. But you look at these companies (and nearly all of them do it), then they slash their workforces. Or, take massive loans/grants from the government, and use it to buyback shares. Truly scummy behaviour.
