Where are all the defund the police people?
It seems obvious that the TPS came to their senses and finally hired Terb's own nottyboi and basketcase

But we can't label them heroes just yet. Not until we determine whether or not that they have been attacked while at a Tim Horton's

Let's see if this extreme act of bravery and compassion gets the world wide coverage it deserves.

I'm pretty sure the advocated social workers couldn't have pulled this one off.

#BlueLivesMatter.....
Yup. Social workers could never have hung onto the guy's arms and held him. Far too dangerous for them.

Only cops can hold onto arms.

You nailed it.

Security guards are paid 3/10ths of a TPS's fat cat, flatfoot's salary surely did until T.O.'s finest doughboys arrived on the scene from their local hiding spots.

From the description, it was the security guards who did the dangerous bit here, holding onto the guy?
The cops just broke the windows on the floor below and brought him inside.
It's a little unclear.

But yeah, seems exactly the kind of thing a social worker can do. What are the cops bringing to the table that's special here?

Definitely not something the cop haters like nottyboi or Charlemoe would've posted.

'' Officers took over & held him for 12 minutes, rescuing him by breaking windows & pulling him to safety. ''

Let's not be obtuse shall we. There's nothing ambiguous about this statement in the least.

You do realize also that a high percentage of social workers are female right?

So are a growing % of cops. Haven't you noticed?

Why wouldn't a social worker attempt the same rescue? Or any well-intentioned bystander?

Toronto Police are “trained for dynamic emergency calls and to save lives,” Ramer said on Twitter. “I’m extremely proud of their bravery. We couldn’t have done this without the held of onsite security.”

Added Tory in a tweet: “Thank you to the officers who saved a man’s life and to all the shelter staff, firefighters and paramedics who also rushed to help.”

“I commend these police officers and security officer for an exceptional job,” Reid added.

Today @TPS53Div attended to a Person in Crisis, a man hanging out an 8th floor window, being held by onsite Security. Officers took over & held him for 12 minutes, rescuing him by breaking windows & pulling him to safety.

Not to take anything away from the police officers, who deserve to be commended. But it seems that a # of non police officers also participated in the rescue, probably INCLUDING the social workers at the residence. And they were all deserving of the praise they got.

Nope. Perfectly fair. Missed the line that they actually took over.
Good for them, then.

How horrible.
I didn't know women couldn't hold things or ask for help or combine forces.
This is important news.
I thought they were people.

I think this explains the cops desire for glory and their fanboy's devotion:

You think that a female social worker who probably had to pass zero physical requirements to get the position would have the strength to hold on to that man?

Unless you are living in a parallel universe it ain't happening.

How about a MALE social worker? Or a female cop?

What physical requirements does a female cop have to pass?
