Do you think some men should enjoy their 30's like some women enjoyed their 20's? (Sexual liberation?)

PS: I don't mean to offend anyone. I only want to share my personal experience.

Female cousin
: She's now in her late 20s and looking to settle down. However, ever since she was 18, she's had tons of boyfriends, did tons of parties; I celebrated that she got to enjoy her 'party years." No judgment on my part.

Male cousin:
My cousin was unattractive throughout high school and college. He stayed in his dorm playing video games while everyone was partying. Now that he is in his late 20s. He has a small business(location independent), bought a condo(doesn't have to worry about rent, inherited some money from some family, had savings), and plans to rent his condo to make a side income. He told me he wants to spend his 30s traveling to Europe, hooking up with women, and going to nightclubs and concerts. We were learning French and German together. He met a professional woman; she was a straight gal, not a party type, and saw her for a few months before breaking it off. She wanted to be more serious, but he didn't want to.

Who am I tell my cousin, 'No, don't do it? You should settle down!' My cousin is a guy who I feel needs to enjoy his life!

Acquaintance: I have an acquaintance who got married in his late 20s and has a kid. He's now in his mid-late 30s. His marriage ended up in divorce after 6-7 years. It did not end 'acrimonious' instead; it ended up amicable**. However, once children are in the picture, priorities change. My acquaintance has to work even harder to support his child.** I highly doubt that he can use that money for himself, to have fun.

These are just some thoughts I feel for some people there's a narrow way life should be like. But my view is that people should do their own thing.

Sure. Go for it. After shitty 20's I thought I had reached the beach at the beginning of my 30's. Turned out I was in for an unexpected sexual/social lockdown for my 30's. Finally got free in my early 40's. Too late.

I’d say yes in order to avoid being in the same situation with your third scenario (acquaintance).

Women are at their physical best from early to mid, or sometimes a little late twenties. Hence, your female cousin get to enjoy early and settle down right after.

As for guys who are late bloomers like your cousin, I think it is important to compensate for the lack of experience and enjoyment during their early twenties. I’d say it was smart for your cousin to avoid commitment with the girl he met even though they might have been a good match. We have to watch out for “the one” syndrome and not marry the first qualified woman we encounter.

Some people are not meant to get married in this life time. Maybe the next. I call this my Saturday life time where I try to find myself/reflect and have fun.
Some succumb to peer pressure and become unhappy in different ways. ( Single, then, Marriage and Divorce)
Some find true love this lifetime and are happy weather they are rich or poor.

Have you found yours?

A woman in her 30's most likely has already been
enjoyed by tens of other guys when she was in her
20's. I am the old fashioned type. If I have the choice
I'd only settle for a woman in her early 20's or younger.

You are posting on a forum about sex. I don't get the impression there are many sexually repressed men around here.

I would think that terb would be an excellent place for men who have not had a lot of success with women or sexually repressed to come and learn about alternative way to seek sexual satisfaction in their lives. success with women for men is very dependent on certain characteristic men have. men who are socially awkward or inept, or would be considered unattractive by certain standards.

I dont see escort that often but I do find terb an excellent resource and a space for men to discuss topics that would be frowned upon by typical society.

Men in their 20's have tough time getting sex if they are not good looking, unless they are willing to spend half of their McDonald's paycheck for an hour of sex. In contrast, women can get sex pretty much anytime they want for free.

I disagree. This place, and it is a great place, is not a great place for learning how to navigate women. The majority of active posters have deep resentment towards women and post the most ridiculous garbage when it comes to the topic of dynamic relationships with women. It would be incredibly unhealthy for this to be where you come for that. Just the fact that it is assumed that "women in their 20s get fucked so much!" is nuts. Many women in their 20s are married. Many women in their 20s have careers and other focuses (like school). And who exactly are these women fucking if not men? The whole thing is ridiculous.

I agree that sex work in general is an amazing tool for men to learn self confidence and to learn about their bodies and how to please women, but I also think that is a double edged sword because it also creates a crutch and can often lead to (sex) addiction that is incredibly hard to kick (as noted by so many posters here).

120%.
The older a guy gets the more attractive he becomes. Once he’s north of 40 with a great career, he will have no shortage of choices. The bar for men is set so low in this city that having your shit together, being respectful & polite will get women lining up.

He should definitely party it up in his 30’s

navigating women? I was referring to sex and the how to of prostitution.

I would also disagree with the majority of posters have deep resentment of women. I believe that some men have been rung through the wringer in relationships with women. they are aware of terrible behavior that women are capable of. people have terrible behavior, some people have terrible behavior and their partner figures it out to late and gets burned by the partner. hence, the importance of vetting your partner. no doubt there are some men who hate women(which I would say is a small percent), but for the most part guys with opinions about female behavior does not mean hate.

this place has men discussing mens issues and other topics. its a easy way for men to talk to other men.

"women in the twenties get fucked so much". I would say yes compared to past history. the invention of the birth control, abortion, religious views changing, societal norm evolving,, sexual revolution. having access to these thing opened up the opportunity to have responsibility free sex, just like men. although men do not have reproductive rights

statistically a large percentage of women marry in their late twenties and early 30s. many women do have schools and careers in their 20s . women could be fucking men or women.

I wouldnt agree that men learn confidence from sex workers. learn about their bodies, perhaps. pleasing women, I doubt it.

a crutch perhaps. I would say its much easier to drop some coin then jump through the ritual of dating.. when viewed from a return on investment cost analysis pooning is a much better return on investment.

people have lots of addictions. having sex wouldnt be the worst.

What I think is going on:
Average Western Woman: Usually path is to party in their 20's then settle down in their late 20s and early 30s.
Average Western Men: No life experience, gets married the same as women, his marriage only lasts a few years. Only when he is in his 40's he starts travelling the world, delving into escorts, stripclubs.

I think most guys should skip the getting married/have children and instead focus on getting that dating and sexual experience n their 30s. This would make them pick better and no what they want. You see this more with some dating gurus in that they had their fun and then settled out of really like one woman, they came from a place of "abundance."

I never said all. however, there are of course bisexual, lesbian and trans women. factually true regardless of the ratio. women have never been so free in their entire history to pursue whatever choices they wish.

with so many freedoms and choices come the natural consequences of those choices.

This!

I seriously don’t get the point of this thread.

So what? Men have the same. Gay men, bi, ladyboys, etc. What is your point?

If women are fucking in thier 20ies, they have to be fucking someone and sorry to burst your bubble but it is mostly other younger men. Just sayin

And the excuse that less attractive men have a harder time getting laid is just dumb. Women (and most men) tend to be attracted to whomever makes them feel good about themselves. Looks are less important. Which is why we can sniff out the jaded incel vibes a mile away, women haters literally put that scent out there (pheromones).

This!

Depends on the man and circumstance. I never once worried about getting married, and never have been as a result. I'm not going to be pressured into it. If I find the right woman, sure. If I don't, I'm not about to get shacked up with the wrong one.
My brother had the opposite approach. He rushed into marriage in his early 20s, because he was following the expectations: get a degree, get a girl, buy a house, start a family. Lucky for him, he realized she wasn't the right one and they got divorced before starting that family. But then he rushed to fill the void again. I don't get it.
