Resistance ? The truck weighs 40,000lbs to 120,000 lbs. You think you can tell the difference of 2-3,000lbs being pushed ?
That empty dump truck looks empty so it weighs approximately 25,000 lbs. Here's the thing. It's not whether the driver can tell if the difference between a 10,000 lbs. and 13,000 lbs. load when he drives his truck away from a site. It's the fact that the load instantaneously increased by more than 3,000 lbs. It's actually more than that, when you consider the car was sideways (wheels effectively locked) and was being pushed up a hill.

I can notice the difference when I load my summer wheels/tires into my car to get them switched over. Especially when going up hills.

Maybe he thought he hit an object on the road and didnt wanna pull over because its obviously dangerous to make a stop in the middle of the Gardiner downtown.

I think he probably is guilty of driving offenses, but I dont think he dragged her along intentionally.
For sure cops would have laid serious criminal charges if that were the case. Maybe even attempted murder??

He wasn't on the Gardiner, he was on the ramp leading to it. The collision occurred down by the Lakeshore. He pushed her 700 meters up the ramp. He's either a complete idiot or it was an act of road rage.

Protect yourself. Get a dash cam people!
