By that definition, the whole situation is so unusual that you can't make any comparison.

This just seems like "I would like him to give more press conferences".
That's fine.
Personally I would like a formal institution of something like question period where Congress questions the president.
But outside of that, I don't think not giving a press conference is particularly unusual. It isn't like he hasn't been giving speeches and interviews, or refusing to have his press secretary hold dailies.

I'm not saying Biden is acting like Trump. I said Biden needs to face the press sooner than later. What I did say is Trump mostly went on right-wing media outlets where they rarely asked tough questions or pushed back on his obvious lie (and when one did, that became a news-worthy story). Biden's White House is giving daily briefings, Trump's did not. And when they did hold briefings, they were short, full of BS, or where just the airing of grievances.
Yea totally crazy. he is an old fool with dementia. Totally incompetent. And yet he managed to beat the stable genius. You know the only twice impeached POTUS in history. The worst candidate in history managed to beat your fearless leader. And take the Senate. That just makes the now former sorest loser in history and even bigger LOSER.
