What is fake news? That COVID is just a variant of a flu? Well, it is. Just a bit more contagiousness and a bit more nasty, but it is, scientifically, just a variant of a flue. And there will be many mutations of it. And people will live with it. And there will be many vaccine for it with new vaccine developed every season, but they will be about 90% effective for ever-changing variants. And in two-three years people will be tired of the "fight against COVID" and will go about their normal life with 0.01% chance of getting COVID with moderate to severe complications per year. In about 10 years COVID cases will be pooled with flue cases together and in 20 yeas noone will care about it more than about a flue? Or did you really believed that masks, lock-downs, and even vaccine can eliminate constantly mutating virus? Dream on. Nothing will change in two years, but people will be tired of being afraid and will be willing to pay a small price of possibility of getting infected in order to live their lives again.
Noone saying that COVID is not real or it is not bad. But you cannot "hide it out", it will never go away, and people should just live their normal lives paying a bit of an extra price (in probabilistic terms of health complications) for it.

But back to the point: COVID is a more infectious, more deadly, and more health damaging VARIANT OF A FLUE. And it will be with us fro many decades. And their will be no better vaccine against the COVID then against as flue. So, the earlier people will understand it, accept to have another health risk in there life, and go back to their normal lives perfectly knowing and accepting the higher risk, the better our lives will be.
