Never did a politician get so much attention while accomplishing so little. Except perhaps for Biden himself.

Dutchie.

If Bernard Sanders is so inconsequential, why is Arnold so desperate for his mittens?

I guess if those mittens could keep Bernie alive, just think of what they could do for someone in reasonable health.

The politicians that get the attention now are the crazy, unhinged, destructive ones...Trump and his suck-ups, Marjorie...lots of Republicans...

Exactly! The ones promoting socialized healthcare and low fee education are seen as evil!

In a few years the USA will say Bernie told us but selfish we are we did not listen.

Points 3 and 5 were especially prescient. Bet Donald Trump never listened to that speech...

More Da Bern awesomeness! He's off in his history. After he won the 1948 Election, President Truman wanted to enact Medicare For All but the Korean War and Joseph McCarthy's BS tripped him up.

A note on Joe Rogan, some people don't understand what he's about. He's not about polemics, his podcast is an open forum.

Dutchie is resentful, there's only one Da Bern and he's not.

I actually feel a little sorry for Sanders. He's been been advocating for the same things for so many years, and never got anywhere with them. That must feel horrible. He's just never realized that the reason it didn't happen is because his ideas, when fully unpacked, are just not popular enough to move forward. Imagine dedicating your life to a lost cause and not ever understanding why it was doomed to begin with.

He was outmanoeuvred by the cynical Democrat primary machine twice, yet fell in line as they asked him to, only not to be offered a cabinet post or even a floor vote on medicare for all. Sad, not enviable, and certainly nothing to resent.

He's the personification of the grouchy old hecklers of the Muppet show. People like him because, despite his bark, he's powerless and harmless. Like their grandpa.
