yes our govt couldnt have handled it much worse than they did? I mean we're literally in the worst case scenario basically non stop lockdowns since Feb, economy still shutdown, vaccine schedule about as late as it gets for a non 3rd world country. Trump in fact did a better job than Trudeau. He secured hundreds of millions of vaccine doses, securing an "end date" more or less while we have none in sight.

Don't know about the data used in the article but according to https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ we're 52 in deaths rate with 521 per million (vs the US 1346) and 80th in total case rate (20 278 per million vs 79,786 in the US).

We can definitely do better, especially with vaccines, but it seems pretty stupid that a guy who says he's fighting against restrictions is concerned with how well we're implementing restrictions.
