Most people provide a link when they tell people to read an article.

I would understand the statement that worldwide numbers are somewhat based on projections as not every country has centralized, reliable reporting but unless you have evidence otherwise, Canada's numbers (as well as most other first world countries) are actual numbers, not driven by models.

Covid WAS the cause of death. If someone suffering from cancer dies because of covid, then covid is the cause of death even if the cancer was likely to kill them in 6 months.

I wouldn't include person who committed suicide unless the suicide was to end the suffering from the disease. The big question is how many of Ontario's 5701 and Canada's 18 828 deaths do you think were actually suicides?
