No, because the virus is airborne. Those flimsy masks people wear lets all the air go through.
Might as well wear a sieve on your face while you're at it

Why do you keep repeating the same ridiculous arguments?

Does your N95 mask have a contained breathing system? if not, where do you think the air you are breathing comes from? Or maybe lack of oxygen is an issue.

p.s. FDA testing has properly fitted surgical masks working with a 98% efficiency which is better than your N95. Maybe it's time to change over.

So you don't know how to properly fit the mask then. Maybe you should do the research.
Possibly one of the dumbest things you've said yet.
The N95 mask comes with tight fitting elastics so the mask is fitted as snugly to the skin as possibly.

That's weird. So why do all the medical sites talk about getting a proper fit? I guess we shouldn't worry about different face shapes and sizes because they have an elastic.

But what does 3M know about the masks they make.

I modify my KN95's by removing the ear elastic and add my own elastic to make them fit like N95's. Over the head. Nice and tight.

How often do clean it??
I don't really clean them, I have a bunch of them. So I throw them in a bag and down the road, maybe reuse if I run out. Or leave in the car. I' ve sprayed them with alcohol in the past too. These days depending were I'm going I wear a blue surgical masque on top of this one and those I throw away periodically.

The instructions on the box are made by people who designed them
So why does 3M say they should be fitted?

Maybe your instructions on the box pre-suppose that people wouldn't be dumb enough to buy masks that weren't the proper fit for their face shape and size?

The fitting part is easy. Just follow the instructions.

And you need to get with the program. N95 masks is whats needed
