US is very divided now. Too much hatred from both sides. Very very sad.

One of the most basic principles is voting. That's how officials and government is elected.

When millions of people say voting was rigged, fraud commited - there should be a commission who'll investigate for the purpose of transparency so everyone can sleep at night.

Unfortunately, over 70 million people were simply told to accept the outcome.
Buddy, no. What I said. Every state checked, re checked and re re checked its vote security whenever Trump challenged it. You just don't know that the facts are here.

Let's not be afraid of calling them what they are. Racist white supremacist.

Anyone saw a single person of color in all the videos?

Black people protesting like this today would have been openly shot.

White privilege?
How many black "protesters" were shot by police during BLM riots? Today one white women was shot and killed by police. If it was black people protesting today, police would have retreated.

No.

There was tons of coverage of this stuff, including detailed evidentiary and legal analysis on Twitter from top lawyers and I posted a ton of that stuff in turn on the politics board.

They pretty much retreated today anyway.

But no. If you actually watched the BLM protests coverage, there was tons of violence, much of it by the cops.

Actually, as I recall, most complains were dismissed by courts because of "luck of evidence", instead of conducting a thorough investigations. What was said is that "there is no evidence now, so, we will not be looking into this issue" instead of "there is no evidence now, but we will conduct a thorough investigation to make sure nothing went wrong". I think, the issue is serious enough to have a thorough investigation even if the is no hard evidence as of now.

Any cop-inflicted firearm injuries during the riots? I do not think so. Violence was from both sides, but no lethal weapons used by cops.

No. Discussed to death on the politics board.

Here's the example I used. I say "No way Bills should have beaten Steelers in Game 13. I want an injunction delaying the rest of the season and canceling the Super Bowl until I have a full investigation of that game. Because it doesn't seem plausible that Steelers lost."

You get why an applicant has to PROVE his / her case before getting an order from the court? Anything less would quickly grind society to a halt.

You just can't go to a judge and say "Pretty suspicious, huh?" You need to provide proof ahead of time.

I'm not sure if you're trying to be funny or just can't help it.

You say NO, but then base that NO on something you heard or was told by someone.

No, I'm saying exactly what I mean. It was analyzed to death.

And this has to end the conversation on this point. Like I said, you're coming in 5 minutes before the end of the movie and arguing about the previous 2 hours of plot. You can go read the threads on the politics board.

Because they were better equipped and better organized during BLM?

70 million people were lied to by the conman Trump and his media and social media backers.
You're barking at the wrong tree.

Thats the way it works.
Cops don't take people to court and then do an investigation to see if there is evidence.
They investigate first, find if there is enough evidence to stand in court and then take it to court.

Trump whined because he lost and no matter how hard he looked, leaky Rudy couldn't find any evidence.
That's why the courts didn't take the cases.

Actually they are symbols of regional representation or fighting for a lost cause.

The later seeming more appropriate now.

This is what the bearers will tell you.....

If you want to associate it with slavery then that could be done with practically every flag or monument from that era.

And to be clear I wouldn't personally own or display a confederate flag.........
So was that a symbol of freedom today? Is that what they were storming the Capitol for?
