I booked an hour massage with Thip this morning. I enjoy a good massage; if all I got was a good massage, I'd be ok with that.
I've had many massages over the years but she gives a Thai massage that I've never experienced. My limbs were in positions they've never been in before and she worked knots out that I didn't know I had! She also quickly found that I had a knee issue and worked on improving that. She is pretty amazing.
The 60-minute massage was well worth the $100 and I gave her an extra $20 and left a happy guy.
She is sweet, a bit difficult to understand, very slim and pretty. Picture on the ad doesn't do her justice.
She's in South Kanata, I never realized Kanata went that far south, 40 minute drive from Orleans but well worth it. I will repeat.
Don't fret the 819 number and the confirmation number from some other part of Ontario. She is quite well organized and is a bit perturbed by all the a-hole NSNC.

One, the picture she sent me when requested was clearly taken by someone else. And two, the communication (texting) is excellent English, even though the input I've gotten indicates she's difficult to understand in person. And three, the location seems to be a brand new, upscale, large single family home. That seems like a lot of house for a single lady who does this for a living.
None of those things necessarily mean anything, but they also could. Entirely possible everything is on the up-and-up, though the opposite could be true. Just food for thought.

So someone took her picture, big deal. You're reading too much into nothing.

If you're referring to my comment that she's a bit hard to understand, I didn't say her English is poor, it's her accent.

Actually it's a basic townhouse, 4 attached together. It's not brand new, not upscale and not a single family home! Could she be renting?

Not being negative, being cautious. My radar was up a bit re: trafficking, that's all. No accusations, just my 2 cents. I'm sure it, and she, is fine.

That’s not a bed, it’s the type of matress used for Thai massage and probably other types of massages. But it’s certainly versatileI like the fact that she offers either a table or a bed for the massage.

It's at the higher end for 90 minutes, but it's not crazy, imo. That said, and I'm no marketing genius, but I've always thought that pricing for massages (legit or not) should curve cheaper the longer the appointment. As in 30 mins - $60. 45 mins - $75. 60 mins - $90, 90 minutes - $120. As opposed to each extra 15 minutes is the same amount increased. Gives people a bit of an incentive to book longer appointments, meaning more guaranteed income for the provider, and less time spent trying to fill in their schedule. Looking at her prices, it's $60, $70, then jumps to $100. I don't see the incentive to book for an hour when it's $30 more than 45 minutes. But 45 minutes is only $10 more than 30. Just my 2 cents.
Time is money, but I'm sure it winds up in the providers favour when they take a little bit less for a longer appointment, as opposed to having more scheduling gaps to fill and no income.

Thip's ad says $70 for 45 mins. which is in line with the rates charged by some of the local legit massage therapists, whether it's for a therapeutic or relaxation massage. My 6'5" male therapist is a great guy, but I don't want any extras from him.
My rate in a "legit" SPA for a 90 minutes therapeutic massage(not a relaxation as it is normally cheaper) was 130$ just before the COVID. And they just had their rates up.
Rate in SPA are usually higher then independent private place. My current rate with an independent for 9o minutes is 110$ and she is renting a place. She's not doing it at her place so more cost for her. (and she really good)
On the longer time theory, think about it, do your calculation, one 90 minutes at 90$ or two 45$ at 120$ ? (2 x 60$).
The therapist is doing 30$ more with two 45 minutes.
What would you choose ?
@MikeO It is still not clear to me if she offer "extras". Still my understanding is she is just legit massage.
This gives me all the info that I require.
