This is Canada, home of everyone can be reformed. He will likely serve little jail time unfortunately. Deportation would be best, can people be deported if they become citizens and break the law or once a citizen you are considered Canadian for good, anyone know?

Firstly, why do you assume he could be deported? People of colour are not necessarily immigrants. Many are born here in Canada.

However, let’s assume that he was an immigrant. Once you are granted citizenship, it is no longer a privilege, it is a right. As such, the citizen has the right to a fair hearing.

Revoking one’s citizenship can be done under certain circumstances - conviction of fraud during the citizenship process, terrorism acts, or being discovered as a foreign fighter.

While human trafficking is a heinous crime, it would not be enough to strip him of citizenship as a naturalized Canadian.
