They should stop all non essential travel in or out of Canada. If someone left for a vacation, so sad, they should not be allowed back in until the lockdowns are lifted.
I skimmed through the post of this thread and did not find much meaningful post.
A virus mutation is usually the norm. Remember that the goal of a virus is to live. And they live by spreading themselves as much as possible. If you die the virus dies. So they mutated pretty constantly. And scientist are not surprised. The fact that it spread faster is not really good tho. But if this virus follow the regular path the mutation should be less deadly (remember they want to live). It's one path maybe leading to another type of flu which we will be stuck with for the future. Vaccine, like for the flu, will greatly help to get us back to normality but it will most probably not eradicate this virus entirely. Besides your flu shot you'll get you covid shot each year in the future and we will all be able to get back to our normal life and bang as much girl as possible until we die
And so far there is absolutely no fact that could prevent current vaccine to also be efficient against this new mutation.

Fake News. In fact, scientists believe the vaccine will hold up against the new strain, given that it's weaker. Why bother posting fake news, only %0.05 of the population believe it.
