The Bible, but the parts that are Truly God sent, none of the other fiction staff, you know like the Virgin Birth.

John.8
[1] Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.
[2] And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.
[3] And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
[4] They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
[5] Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
[6] This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
[7] So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
[8] And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
[9] And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
[10] When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
[11] She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

I can't pick just one, here's my top 5 in no particular order.

The Intelligent Investor - Benjamin Graham
In The Name of Rome - Adrian Goldsworthy (better than The Art of War by Sun Tzu)
Collapse - Jared Diamond
The Arms of Krupp - William Manchester
The Dragons of Eden - Carl Sagan
In The Name of Rome is a history. Art of War is a military handbook. Apples and oranges.

Some scholars now believe that the virgin birth is due to a mistranslation in the book of Isiah from Hebrew which originally said "young woman" as opposed to virgin.

Also just a crock - Augustus' decree of a census was just an attempt by a later writer(s) to make Jesus part of the House of David to fit the Messiah prophecy. Surviving records of imperial Rome are quite comprehensive and an such census would have been mentioned. No Bethlehem, Jesus was born in Galilee.

The Koran might not have actually referred to virgins either, due to a later translator switching Aramaic for Arabic or visa virsa. There are few Koranic scholars like there are Biblical scholars since there is that risk of being beheaded...

Our leaders could learn from the biblical passages below that charity
begins at home before they send our money overseas as foreign aid.
That said, we must not turn away outsiders begging for help if they
are begging to be treated like dogs.

Matthew 15

21 Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon. 22 A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon-possessed and suffering terribly.”

23 Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.”

24 He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.”

25 The woman came and knelt before him. “Lord, help me!” she said.

26 He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”

27 “Yes it is, Lord,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”

28 Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.
