It's extremely hard to take you seriously and now I know why the people in this thread were poking fun at you.
Your reasons are filled with 'maybe's and 'probably's except It's quite obvious you're just making it up. Also to call work slavery makes you sound like an angsty 16 year old who just got told by his dad that he loses his car privileges if he doesnt get a part-time job
I mentioned this a while back also lol. Using the word probably to prove a point is laughable.

I read a quote from Jack nicklaus, he had a couple friends whose parents died and the hospitals urged them to sign off the deaths as covid related so they could get funding. Wonder how many times that has happened?

I didn't realize that children sign off on the cause of death or diagnosis for their parents. What a world!

For the love of fuck I wish people would stop pointing to New Zealand and Australia as the gold standard. They are island nations with low population densities. They closed borders early so had relatively few cases to begin with.
Closing borders early. One of the "gold standard" practices. And where other nations failed.

Europe had massive lockdowns and strict masking policy and they are overrun with cases and deaths. Italy 50,453. France 49,312. Spain 43,131. UK 55,327. Belgium 15,755.
Which would have been 10X worse without extreme safety measures such as those. Good job health experts! Thankfully the covidiots were not in charge.

You should just stop arguing with this people, It's not worth the stress.
Believe me when I tell you that they are more afraid then you and I.
In dangerous situations people react differently. Some start crying and go into panic mode , others will remain calm and find a solution and others will go in denial mode. The latter are the ones that can't handle the truth.
They are probably still visiting escorts and need to lie to themselves to avoid going into panic mode.
This are what you call idiots. Just stop arguing with them.
Just google HIV denialists and you'll see what I mean. You will be surprised how many people died of AIDS because they refused meds since they don't believe HIV cause AIDS.
Nothing new.
Good points.

I respond to them mostly for the lurkers info & not so much for the trolls & those in denial etc.

It's another "hobby" of mine ;

The real comparison for me is smoking. 45,000 deaths every year. Can be stopped with the stroke of a pen. Could be done TODAY. No lock downs, no masks, just a law that says selling cigarettes is illegal. What, I don't hear any movement towards saving lives? A hundred dead Canadians a day for the past fifty years isn't moving the needle? Okay, just checking to see where the priorities are.

If smoking was made illegal sure you save 45,000 lives, but as many as 10,000 of those will turn to crime and die
So by banning smoking you kill 10,000 people every year
Now go put your mask on, stay home, and don't shop (unless its at the LCBO) and don't visit family (unless you are a politician)

The PCR test “is unable to determine, beyond reasonable doubt, that such positivity result corresponds, in fact, to the infection of a person by the SARS-CoV-2 virus”, said the Lisbon Court of Appeal.
