I only had one reply from her listing her services then nothing. Those services are great and she asks "small deposit". There is someone who called her a "scammer" in her instagram comments. I hope she is not.

I have tried a couple of times over the past 6 weeks when she advertises in Kingston to no avail, never got a reply.
I just figured from her pictures that she is booked solid when she gets here.
One would think if she was scamming she would be answering every text, then asking for deposits.
As soon as I get the text that says deposit required, my next text is "Thank you for your time, sorry to have bothered you."

I took one for the team.

I had been following Destiny on OF for a while and then saw her ads on LL. I decided to risk the $100 deposit. Sure enough, I got ripped off. She had asked me to e-transfer the balance upon arrival because, she said, she was working by herself and didn't want to carry a lot of cash. That was fine with me, except her definition of "upon arrival" meant while I was still outside the hotel. I told her no, I'd pay when I saw her. And that was the end of that.

Later that evening my bank phoned me to ask about recent transactions. It seems that several of her attempted clients have disputed the charges and her account is flagged. I've disputed it, too.

I am curious: Exactly how does one dispute the voluntary e-transfer? Does it go like this?

"Hello Ms. (or Mr.) bank manager, I would like to reverse the e-transfer of $100 that I voluntarily made last night to Destiny. Who is Destiny? Oh, she is the SP that I gave a deposit to but then she never showed up at our meeting place. Oh, you don't know what an SP is? Would you like me to explain?"

How did you explain that one to the bank?

It is like having a "second job" spending so much time weeding through the multitude of fakes and scammers just to find an experience worthy of our hard earned money.
Damn our smaller head for driving us to this !

Seriously, though, never e.transfer and never pay at the door, or too much in advance of services being delivered.
Yes, I have had my own negative experiences being scammed, so it can happen to any of us.
Learn from the advice of those here, who have been burned.

I always pay immediately in advance of the service - as in come in, introductions, payment, service, done - in that order - that's the norm, correct?

The only exception is if it's a highly reputable provider, but those places are frequently out of my price range.

I wonder how much these people actually make.

Takes them maybe two minutes to post and then who knows... maybe they get 2 or 3 suckers per day. Couple hundred bucks a day for doing basically nothing at all.
Not a bad scam. They do that, and still collect welfare ontop and maybe a side hustle. Good for her. If ur stupid enough to send money in advance then you deserve what you get.
