Do you think there should be an industry standard for posting photos?

I think it's fair to say that very often a photo in advertisement doesn't live up to our expectations in reality. It's true for merchandise, personal ads etc.
In escort industry it's becoming a frequent occurrence when a photo of a companion doesn't reflect present appearance.
Do you think there should be an adopted standard? What do you think it would be?
Here's an example of what I mean:

Oftentimes we also have expectations, but that's a different topic. Here's an example of reality vs expectations:

This is why reviews, esp. negative ones, are really critical. Also, if anyone uses their name to advertise over the internet, there is no legitimate reason not to name them on the internet...

To expand on this topic:

Independents on LeoList often use recent photos which is a positive, but heavily edit them using software.

Agencies often use photos from 1-2 years ago.

There should be some kind of an agreed guideline on when and how often to update.

If a provider gained weight, it should be reflected in current photos. If a bbw provider loses a lot of weight and looks like a fitness model - it should be reflected.

A girl had beautiful long natural hair but decided to cut it, why not show it?

It's 2020! Every single device these days comes with a camera. Snap snap, problem solved.

Some SPs use social media like Twitter and constantly post selfies and videos. Very appreciated. Perhaps not a bad idea to put a link on provider's profile page. Way less confusion and unpleasant moments.

Getting people to follow so-called standards is a pipe dream even in regular businesses. Businesses can choose not to follow the recommendations from standards bodies like ISO9001, etc.

I have to agree. I can't see any reputable agency posting that big of a difference in photos. Yes they definitely show a womans best angles but that is a night and day difference that would be a terrible way to market

No one said agencies represent their girls in that manner. They do however use very old photos that don't quite represent a lady's current look or form.
I had a personal experience where I walked into a room and saw 2 girls that vaguely looked like their photos. They posted their faces in an ad, not just beat angles on bodies, so I'm comparing apples to apples. It wasn't run away scary, but still disappointing and I should've walked out. So it's not a hypothetical but an unfortunate fact.

If a standard was "If you don't look like YOU on advertised photos then I get a free session" then 100% there would be very accurate, recent photos... also throw in a free McDonald's meal

Let’s face it, escorts may have older and even doctored photos but only the scammers use someone else’s photos.

No scammers are not only the ones who do this. Some use look alike but not them to give you an idea of what they look alike. However when a girl does this they should point it out. Sometimes as in Hollywood body doubles you barely notice at all even if looking.

As escorts is a job, and a well paid one, more than most fashion models make, then I think the fashion model/actress standard should be the norm - one new photo at least per year - older photos are fine - as long as they are noted as older with one or more recent ones.
I have noticed a huge move away form service based professionalism - the customer jumps threw barriers rather than the service provider selling and accommodating the customer. This is a huge shift from ten years ago.
For example, the standard answer to any question - its on my web site , vs. here is the answer and by the way my website will answer most of your questions. Imagine a waiter responding to a question by saying "read you menu, its on the menu I don't need to waste my time talking with you about it"
Maybe the waiter would point to the menu as they answered, smilling and cheerful as they do so. Unless we are talking a discount service it turns me off to have this low level of service even at first contact.

Yes, everybody in the flesh trade should not be allowed off of a website until such time as when they have figured out how to post each and every one of their ad photos right-side up!!!!

"works" visible in plain sight, or at least in the reflection... is also preferred

Pimp's tennis shoes (occupied, or not) ideally visible in a reflection somewhere
