They continue to close entire regions. When the cases are confined to a few towns.
IE.
York Region covers a huge area. where most of the cases are in the towns in the south end.
North of these towns there are very few but we who live in northern York Region must suffer because of the few.
Not Fair.
These government employees who draw a huge salary do not know the hardships they are inflicting on the smaller uninfected communities.

GTA & Thereabouts...
Start writing your MPP and threaten that you’ll do your part to vote them out. Do the same for the MP and Mayor. Gather others to your cause.

Actually they should close regions in full. It's quite clear a small number of people are not understanding the rules nor do they use common sense.

I live in the suburbs not too far out of Toronto and over the timeframe the 9 days that they closed Toronto region's restaurants and bars and other close regions were kept open, there are two high end and well known restaurants near my house even during the week I was driving by they had a significant amount of cars in their parking lot, it's clear they saw influx and it was visible on their social media's. I do not understand the selfish need to be out on a Monday, or the rest of the week to a high end Steakhouse or Italian restaurant getting drunk during a pandemic and doing it with another group the following day.

If Toronto closes, it makes sense to close the same stuff in York Region.

I live in York Region, I do not want the little s@#$s from Toronto travelling North to my area just to dine at a Restaurant.
Stop IT! I hate it when I agree with an Amigo!!!!

Replace the word "selfish" with the word(s) "freedom-loving"... It is a matter of perspective. I'm tired of eating Kraft Dinner. I'd like a steak too.

On the other hand, why not just let these bars and restaurants close FOREVER and just cook your steak at home, washed down with the bitter drink you call "beer" ( which I personally hate the taste of, but whatever ).

If you are so desperate for the restaurants to open, why not use your life savings and BUY A RESTAURANT, then keep paying staff to keep them off welfare, etc.

The only reason you want to open the economy is to save tax money.

Yet you are not willing to contribute your OWN FUNDS to save these restaurants, by simply bailing them out yourself.

Just walk up to a restaurant owner and GIVE THEM YOUR LIFE SAVINGS, rather then swacking about bars and restaurants.

When it’s a matter of protecting the general public’s health it’s far more important to take precautions rather than being careless. You can still order takeout, if you really need to order a steak from a restaurant, that’s if you can’t cook it yourself.
But the reality is like I said a small percentage but a significant number of people are too selfish for their own wants and they don’t want to be subjected to the smallest amount of inconvenience for the greater good of the community.
The ones complaining are not doing so out of concern for the restaurants it’s all about their own selfish wants.

They think

restaurants = jobs = lower deficits = lower taxes = more money for them = hookers.

Rather then pay tax to support unemployed they would rather hoard tax money in big bank accounts, big G-strings & big G-spots.

GREEDY

rather then swacking about bars and restaurants.
I meant to say "squawking" but I've been inside so long I've lost the ability to think.

Sorry.

I go poo poo now.

lenny2, doggystyle99 & jelly baby,

Please put my meal choices aside...

You're afraid (and it may be warranted for you), however the children, teens and young men and women may not give a rat's ass as they'll be fine. That's perspective. Thin the herd out.

I'm in the middle. I'm at risk, but I realize the youth want to fuck and create babies. We're not important. The young are important. In the meantime, I want to enjoy what life I have left.

People travel

The entire "close" is just plain stupid
Peel is closed but the people there routinely cross borders around them for work, social, and entertainment

Why would they listen to you if you gave them the ultimatums? Sorry but you part of a tiny group of cranks in their opinion.

This whole thing is bullshit and a clusterfuck, all around. I can get my dick sucked at the massage places like I did on Monday, but I can't go and take steam at the banya. Dance lessons; no problem- going to the health club; big problem. I'm only allowed to grab take out, but I can accomplish that by using the packed city bus. I can sit at a patio and drink beer, like I did today, but, gods forbid, if I should take my niece trick or treating. This Saturday, thousands of people will visit packed Costco or Wal-Mart, while I can't enjoy a steak at Ruth's, sitting 10 feet from another diner. And on it goes. Surreal doesn't begin to even describe it. And now, they are having outbreaks at the hospitals. I don't know if I should laugh or cry!

Not if the anti-maskers and freedom-lovers save us from insanity.

The Beastie Boyz put it best: “You have to fight for your right to party.”
