Thats only the half of it. Why the porn biz still does billions in revenue, the revenue is not actually generated by the porn but rather is used in various legal and sem-legal to illegal tax avoidence to money laundering schemes. Since porn has in the past generated the engine that ran the internet the revenues look legitimate since in the past that is what it generated.
Likely all film porn or not will cease in 5 years and will just be youtube user generated content and HBO style tv movies on NetFlix and what not. With one year of films lost revenue and probably one or two or three more plus people getting used to watching at home as a habit most theaters will disappear.
