Sounds like the mods did what they're supposed to do - keep the community from hurting itself and others.
Again, would it be possible not to post messages that support moderators' decisions since people that oppose such decision cannot do the same. TERB is a private company, not a democracy, so, when you say you support your boss (or moderator), it is equivalent to saying that you support NOT DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED leader of you country. Such leader may be good or bad, but, by the sole definition of dictatorship, he is a dictator. We must follow his rules to live in his country (i.e. on TERB), but saying that you agree with such rules is not fair for people who disagree. So, if you believe in democracy but still want to follow the private TERB rules, the decent thing to do is neither support nor oppose the moderators' decisions and points of view but simply follow his rules. For example, people who disagree that indi's screening methods cannot be discussed, cannot say so because, according to TERB rules, members cannot question moderators' decisions. Thus, when you say that you support the rule that indi's screening methods cannot be discussion, you are engaging in unfair discussion where your opponents are simply not allowed to argue with you. Furthermore, for new members who are not familiar with TERB rules and/or cannot make fully logical conclusions, it may seems that majority of TERB members support this rule, while it is not necessary true

P.S.: As you can see, I did not say whether I support of reject any rules imposed by moderators, but I do believe in fairness, and, therefore, ask all members do not praise or critic TERB rules and moderators' posts in any way.

Would someone get banned for starting a thread encouraging people to guess who got banned? Not that I would ever do that. :p

I was told sometime in the past that the mods can read the private messages. True?
Very few forums store private messages encrypted, if you have access to the site's database, anybody can read it. That said, it's generally frowned on as people have an expectation of privacy. It doesn't sound this is what happened here though.

Even though you can go through the database; it is not as easy as point, click and read. Not from my understanding anyway.

Way to much time and sifting for TERB mods to even be bothered.

I've just looked at the forum rules and I believe items 20 contradict many other items, e.g., item 12. I am wondering if moderators may want to modify rule 20 by saying that the forum encourages open discussion as long as it does not contradict rule 12 (questioning the moderator in public topic) or other rules that prohibit the discussion of specific topics.

Central Ont. between here & there
A new member that they invited into their group tipped us off.
good on that member
agree with ban for life
I'm not a techie so I don't understand the IP address stuff,
If exposing them, saves the potential of asking for or offering BBF that protects all of us.
You don't haggle at beer store or LCBO, don't haggle with a SP. If you don't think its a fair market price, don't call.
I choose my limit & stick to it, I've raised it over the years as market average changes or if I see an advt SP I really want to meet, I think about it as a 1 off or not at all and move on. Sometimes a treat is very nice that I'd love to see again, sometimes I've left thinking for the extra, I could have seen XXX?? for 90mins & had way more fun.

That's not true depending on the mods used and added. On some forums it really is as simple as point, click and read, and I would know... I have spent much of my adult life administrating different platforms, but that being said, like mentioned by another poster, aint no one got time to sit around readings all the PMs here for fun.
