But there are names seen in the screenshots from that private group that aren't banned, such as cuteboy, solo223 and Poolasaurus. The screenshots might not show these two or the other people who may have been part of the group saying anything bad *this time*, but aren't you the company you keep? So why do some members of the group remain unbanned?

I would be very surprise if this leads to the end of an era.
End of some names but they just gonna rename themselves and come back in a few day... if they are not back already. I've already notice a lot of new members in the recent days. Coincidence or... ?
Never said nothing bad here about someone i only did some good and bad reviews i never complain about anybody on the site ....maybe mod could clear things up to me
He was active yesterday (ie. after the initial wave of bans) so either he self-deleted, or the mods had a second look at who was involved in the private chat and made follow-up bans.
I think Pool left on his own. His Twitter is still up but all his tweets, replies... It's all gone. Wouldn't be surprised if other members also left, I think some people have had enough of this industry's BS.
between the twitter feeds and the original post in the lounge... hard to turn a blind eye. Pool did post this morning saying he didn’t participate in the group, but also wouldn’t mind being banned. I don’t think he left on his own cause shortly after that he disappeared. maybe we should have a running post about banned members and why they were banned, like they do on perb.
Good idea! People should be held accountable for their past behaviour. Wiping out a poster's history only makes it easier for them to rejoin under a new name at a later date after their infractions have been memory-holed and fewer people can even remember what got them booted in the first place.
I don't know what Poolasaurus' motivation/intent is, but wiping out your forum account and then taking the additional step of wiping our your unrelated-but-similarly-named Twitter account is sort of sketchy-seeming (like you don't want to be tied to your past comments/identity in the future).
To put things into context. I and a few others were included in that group on the sole premise that we were long time terb dudes and were deemed 'trusted' by the bizz, i did not ask to be invited, wasn't part of any discussion to create such group and aside from Pool whom i remember from year's past, i did not know anyone else as i had not hobbied for a few years and did not visit this site on a regular basis. I believe Pool was also invited on the same premise i was. When i got the mail, i opened it and i was under the impression it was just a group to discuss what i believed to be SP's offering decent service at a decent price (subjective). Obviously a few characters were in that group with which i have had zero contact with before that were invited and who proved to be people i would not normally associate with. I have never haggled anyone on pricing nor encouraged anyone to 'bargain'. In all my dealings with SW, i have screened, never argued about it, never negotiated price, never shared incall information, personal information of providers or any of that sort of stuff that would endanger anyone. I have screened more than once and i happen to completely agree with it when required. I rest my case.
and if you want to know Pool was pissed off because he also didn't ask to be included in the cult following. He made a few light comments (nothing worth writing about) and he found himself in this shit same as me. So before you go on your high horses and make all kinds of assumptions or accusations, you should do like a good journalists and find the truth.
Now what you are saying is a bold lie...i have reviewed ladies before, sure like everyone here...and i've even defended more than one here and been called a white knight more times that i care to count. I stand by what i said, i was included without me asking for it or discussing it...whether you believe it or not makes no difference to me nor do i care.
