I checked this thread to see smallhatchet claiming this is a democratic coup.
I hope he recovers for the next debate, just to hear him continue talking about the fake china virus. Also would love to see him have to deal with a big electoral loss.

I’m trusting that Americans have had enough of Trump’s Dream at this point...except for the 40% of Americans who enthusiastically support white nationalism...so who knows? Either way, the world is objectively better off if Trump kicks the bucket...and if covid killed him it would be perfect karma that Dems could enjoy with no guilt whatsoever having urged Trump to take this virus seriously from the beginning.
After all, is it really wrong for us Progressives to enjoy a tiny bit of pleasure from these events bearing in mind the fact that Trump and his base have done nothing but aggressively mock and ridicule those of us who take this damned virus seriously? I guess a more “tolerant liberal” would rise above such pettiness like Biden, Harris, and Obama have done. I, on the other hand, am an “Eat Shit and Die” kinda liberal. The Dems have a big tent.

I'm not so sure. What if God tells him to start another war or that God will take care of COVID? You don't need a mask. God will protect you. When someone listens to their imaginary friend I find that very worrisome.
Trump will in all likelihood survive this illness...but just because it doesn’t kill him does not mean everything will just go back to normal, either.
The Covid virus can have long term health implications for the lungs and other internal organs. We are still learning about these effects. Trump’s health is going to be a major election issue which, given Trump’s attacks on Biden’s health/age, is perfect karma.

Unlike the hypocrites on CNN that I just finished watching (Chris Cuomo) talking about wishing Trump well and "thoughts and prayers" a bullshit like that, I will be honest. If Trump dies, I won't care. In fact, if people must die from Covid, I'd rather it be Trump than some nice grandmother from Cleveland who always gives out candy on Halloween or leaves cookies on your porch.

the bottom line is, the american people need to see how stupid this event is or was and how careless their leader is during this pandemic. regardless, there is still a block of supporters who will not believe that. freedom is being able to do anything you want. that is why we have speed limits, seat belts, texting while driving. Hard to believe this from the most powerful country in the world.
