Although hardly anyone watched it, including myself, Schitt's Creek hit the motherlode at the Emmy's. I'm feeling a bit guilty, I have CBC Gem, I've watched all of Kim's Convenience but not a single episode of Schitt's Creek.
ET is brain dead of course. Zendaya winning for Euphoria is not a surprise at all, she deserved it. She must still have a contractual obligation to Disney, playing the disposable gf to Peter Parker in the mediocre Spider Man: Far From Home.
Ditto. Couldn't get past the first couple of episodes and I did give it a chance since it's Canadian. The overwhelming sweep by this show is simply due to the lack of edgy or even decent comedy series.
I watched it through a second time. The Big Basque as Nate was the most fascinating character. You are a great actor when you can turn a violent, manipulative sociopath, sympathetic.

This just in: In spite of Disney getting a hockey facewash on Mulan, Marvel is going ahead with Shang Chi the Legend of the Ten Rings. Simu Liu has been pushing for this project. The film also stars Michele Yeaoh and Tony Chi of Infernal Affairs (The Departed) fame.

You're right, like Hunter Schaffer, Euphoria is Angus Cloud's first acting credit. Jacob Elordi (Nate) already has over a dozen credits and is in three upcoming films.

I love Antony Starr. very underrated. Surprise this season 2 they casted. Aya Cash (you're the worst)...I find her very hot...

Warrior
I tried watching Warrior but lost interest. Aya Cash isn't in the first season of The Boys, I'm five episodes in. I have a premonition that Homelander is going to do something totally despicable. Karl Urban is almost as under-rated as Lucas Hood.
Antony Starr is a God, he took multiple injuries making Banshee.They couldn't make another season, the actors were too banged up. I started watching Perfect Harmony for Geno Segers, for that show to survive he needs to be the lead. The Maori actor has an incredible voice.
Geno Segers plays a goat farmer in Perfect Harmony, he and the gorgeous Anna Camp have the hots for each other. The show has most themes right but the writing needs to be better.
You've got to be good to sing like David Clayton Thomas.
