Well, the OIC members who use LL should be fine if you're willing to give them private information.

It's pretty obvious who the scammers are. They often use the same prose for every ad, use cute little emojis in their text and use borrowed (read:stolen) pictures. The language used is usually cutesy and girly or raunchy. Sadly, that's about 65% of the ads.

The Ottawa Independent Companions. They will mention it in their ads if they're a member of that collective. They also have their own webpage. These ladies are legitimate so you know you won't be scammed.

Look in her photos for European wall outlets, a tip off the photos are fake. Google the phone number to see if it gets any reviews or, even better, leads to a dangerous person. Search Google for the image to see if it's a fake photo. Search Terb for the name and number, post the ad too in the 411. If the picture is of someone who looks like a super model, and they are charging $120hh, it's fake. Look for "I dont send pics" in the ad, it's fake. Never pay ahead of time or give a deposit through etransfer, you're likely about to be ripped off. Text and ask for a current pic of her doing some hand movement or showing something you requested she write, if she refuses, it's likely fake. You've decided to go meet her, go early, watch the parking lot for undesirables, if it looks really sketchy, leave immediately. If, at any time, you get a really bad feeling about the girl/location, leave immediately before committing yourself. If she opens the door and looks like too young, leave immediately. If she opens the door and looks like Shrek, and that was unexpected, leave immediately.

😏...😅...😂...🤣

I used to have a long drawn out formula trying to have better experiences with unknowns. I spent a lot of time with blue balls trying that method.

These days, if I’m looking for a good time in a hurry, I go with tried tested and true reviewed girls that have mostly good things said about them here in Terb...I don’t bother with other review sites.
If I’m not in a hurry and want to take a chance with an unknown provider I browse LL quickly passing by the known good and bad providers, as well as even the smallest red flags. I’m looking for green flags like a piece of paper in a pic with more than “LL.com” and the date... I wanna see the same name as the ad written on it, or the same contact #. Beware of possible photoshopping. Next I’ll check Terb for that name and the last 4 digits.
Then I will text them. If it takes forever between texts after their first response, move on. If they provide weak and short answers to my inquiries, move on. If they seem evasive with their answers move on. If their answers seem tgtbt, move on.... if they answer my questions, provide the services I’m looking for, at a rate that seems fair, then I might see them. I do this with 3-6 possibles and then make a decision from there. Follow ur gut and be willing to give up and take care of business urself, quite often quality unknowns just r not in the area. Set limits going in and don’t jump through too many hoops to get find someone. The whole process should be part of the fun and adventure, not a game of where’s Waldo when he’s not even in the picture.

It’s been brought to my attention that:

“If the paper has a name on it, it doesn't mean anything. Fakers can steal pictures that has a name on a paper and then create a fake had with the same name.“

So to clarify, I agree... I see it as a green flag that, so long as there is no other red flags, I may pursue with inquiries. Between the layout of the ad and the text conversation I gauge how much effort is put into their side of the venture. A paper with their name on it, while not as appealing as one with their number shows they put forth more effort than the majority of stolen pics, and that counts for something... it doesn’t mean I automatically believe, but it’s the first positive sign.

A paper with a number on it can also be photoshopped so... it all depends how committed to the truth or a lie they r. Either way looking to not get scammed on the internet is an uphill battle strewn with pitfalls and as littered with bodies as Mount Everest.

Their declared weight compared to the photo(s).
Also, at the bottom of the advertiser's page is sometimes listed other adverts by this person. I've seen one girl advertise, on the same day, three different locales in Ontario which would add up to a lot of driving.

Most of my clients are regulars so I guess I could say keeping your clients for a long time is your best investment as a provider.
I have talked to many small business owners over the years and one thing they all have in common and have said is that "repeat customers are worth their weight in gold!"

I am part of OIC and I am not asking for private informations. We all have a different ways to screen our clients. Some like a phone call , some like a reference ect.
The best way to know what make the provider feel safe is to ask her.
OIC members are not all working the same way. We are all independents that have our own way to conduct our business.
We are simply connecting with eachother in order to brake the isolation. This industry’s very taboo so we don’t necessarily share with our love ones about our jobs. It feels great to be able to connect with other providers and be ourself.
