I watched season 1 and really enjoying it. Pretty neat how they visit some of original Karate Kid locations.

Considering it is years old, YouTube already offered both seasons for free (multiple times), YouTube offered it via their premium service (which many use for music mainly), and Google Play sold the seasons dirt cheap ($10)

It seems so late now that Netflix got it

Season 3 was filmed / produced a long time ago
Most of the spoilers are already out (incl the 3 new characters who are making returns; I wont post it since many may not know yet, only 1 of which is mentioned in Season 2)

We know YT is quitting production biz (esp since they sold their golden goose to Netflix) the question I was asking is there anyone out there who actually NEVER watched this show before on the various sources?

Esp since it was FREE to air on at least 3 occasions I am very surprised people on Netflix would watch it for the "first time" now



*edit - and if you hadn't watched the show it is quite well done for what is was, although I felt S1 was alot better than S2

Elizabeth Shue doesn't appear to be interested.

Her career has rebounded nicely since she took time off to have a family. She may be entering a Helen Mirren phase, she has several projects upcoming. And she's getting her own series in which she co-stars with Julie Delpy called On The Verge.

More's the pity.

She is definitely going to show up and it will be at the very end of season 3.

Nothing else can ensure that we will all die of anticipation waiting for season 4.... And if she has her own show, that will explain the delay in waiting until 2021 to release season 3.

Ralph Macchio said in the interview that Lizzy wasn't impressed that the producers penny pinched her out of the sequel. It barely broke even.

Then she got scorching hot in Leaving Las Vegas. I depressing film but worth it for her. Lord Nicolas Cage should be sending her gifts continuously for her getting him that Oscar. How I wish an Elizabeth Shue would show up at my door - even at her current age!

Started watching The Boys out of loyalty to Antony Starr, Sheriff Lucas Hood is one of the best characters ever in TV series.

I’m a huge fan of the show. I grew up on the Karate Kid movies. I stumbled upon this show in the summer of 2018 on YouTube. Initially I thought it was some kind of a spoof or something. Started watching it, and became addicted to this instantly. I’m actually truly happy it’s on Netflix and many people are getting familiar with it. I can’t wait for season three. I’ve been waiting since April 2019, after binge watching season two. I even upgraded to a YouTube premium account for the show lol.

lots of very interesting theory shows on YouTube about speculations etc. etc. who is going to come, what will happen, how it’s going to happen etc etc. it’s fun stuff.

I'm almost done the second season. Isn't quite as good as season 1 IMO, but that tends to happen with most series as they get thin on story lines.

I've only watched episode 1 but so far so good (no spoilers please!). I thought the lead character seemed kinda wooden and isn't the best actor so I checked his Wikipedia and he's been acting for years so I dunno, maybe he's just not a good actor, lol.

Season 3 is taking a long time. Lol i’ve posted on this board about the show previously, I’ve tweeted about this show, this show is very special. Possibly one of the greatest things that’s happened to me in the past 20 years hahaha. I’m a CK junkie. Lol.

Love what they did with Johny Lawrence. He’s so retro and stuck in the 80’s. “Hi I’m messaging you from Facebook. It’s an app in my smart phone.”

Yeah, I saw it on Youtube. It was the only reason I subscribed to Youtube Red (Premium). Just saw it on Netflix again. Can't wait for season 3.
