Several articles i read said the same thing. Yet the medical community only seems interested in the latter, which is not available for sale on Amazon. But many on Amazon are selling the KN95 masks.

Hong Kong has been successfully stopping community transmission. The past few days there is either 0 case or few cases from in bound travel only. total cases 1036. death 4/0.4%
What has been done: City has been semi-lock down and government has implemented some gathering requirement - You can still go out for restaurant, shopping mall, moving around within the city for some work if required with some restriction. Of course they close down the bar (reason is they found a lot cases outbreak from the bar when large group of people gathering together). Restaurant each table allows max 4 persons. table to table is 2M distance. GYM, cinema were closed for 14 days. School is still closed but next week the public examination centre are open for high school to take test for University.
Another important thing is government recommends people in to wear surgical masK (most of them are surgical mask) when they go out across the city anywhere i.e. Restaurant, shopping mall, public transportation, public area etc. Research has shown surgical mast can block 99% of particles and an effective way to get virus from other. If wearing Mask helps us to re-open the city quicker, why not? I don't understand most of the European & North America has reluctance to wear surgical mask to go out during this critical period. It's also dangerous if people believe seat belts and or air bags - alone - will protect them from motor vehicle accidents. And then drive irresponsibly. But people who are informed know better. Just as they know that wearing masks should be combined with other safety measures, as the media & health experts have been saying this for months. Similarly people should know that its a good idea to practice safe sex or wear a condom when doing so. But it's always possible there's someone who's been stranded on a deserted island somewhere for years who still hasn't heard. Or people who've been deceived by conspiracy theories and misinformation on social media.
