What do covid, risk-loving young hipsters and SP/MPA hobbying habits have in common? Increasingly positive Covid-19 trajectory.

Ottawa has been lucky for the past couple of weeks, days on end with nary a covid statistics. Today, shit just hit the fan...Otawa is reporting 135 positive covid metrics. At the same time, we are hearing of late-night partying in bars in Quebec, southern US states correlating with clusters of covid-19 outbreaks. A poll in terb shows a majority population of hobbysts (likely more cautiois older) are sitting out a return to active hobbying, that said, notably, a segment indicated have returned to hobbying full steam, I am willing to bet these are the younger demographic.

You're a good guy but this thread isn't necessary. You can't change the mindset of college students. They don't like having Dr. Tam and Dr. Etches telling them to spend their summer in seclusion as it's not in their DNA. I know this virus is serious and I have been wearing masks since March, long before everybody else did, but these doctors are just asking for too much. Also, I doubt Theresa, Vera, Patricia Boal, Graham Richardson and anybody in the media are worried about their pay checks because doctors and journalists will still be making their money while everybody else gets those $2000 checks and the economy is ruined until 2030.

I just hope this vaccine they're talking about will be ready in September and we can turn the tide.
